Thanks guys. I am recording. I'd like the run to be a watchable length, so I'll try to get a respectable time while I'm at it... Which means I'll only spend so much time in Geo Core before restarting.
you make it through geo core and are heading back to your ship in talon with 8HP. when you are jumping up the platforms in talon you hit the spikey thing or whatever it is and you die. You cant believe it and in the process, keep trying to do the run again but never making it passed geo core. You go mad, play the game forever obsessively, until you pass it one day in 40 years time, when metroid 13 has been released on the new X Box-Xtremium . and no-one even owns their cubes anymore after microsoft had them all destroyed and teken over the world, getting people to folow them because of their games mind control powers. Together you and your trusty metroid prime are the only ones left to save the universe from the evil clutches of microsoft and save all the former speed runners and nintendo fans... to be continued
i think, you already did that hard 1:22 with 33% items in 1 day in page 6 of this topic.
also you never mentioned a hard 1:32 of yours.
you just showed that pic with the 1:24 one (is it real/is it not real, who knows, who cares)
:(
Oh, that must have been on IRC then, that I wrote about my 1:32. This is another one I did today. And please, don't start bitching about fake or real pictures, I've had enough of that in all the other games I've played.
Well, I'll do like this, I'll get myself a capture card, and record a run, of course a better run in less than 1:20. Then I wont post another time until I'm finished, and I've uploaded the run somewhere, and you can all watch the final segment if you don't believe me.
My decision not to practice Ridley at all before trying SS 22% came back to haunt me. Ridley just beat me up on a run that would have been sub 2 hours.
I should probably learn how to dodge his attacks...
1:57, 39%, no sequence breaking, except early artifacts, and I don't know if that counts, if so, you'd have to pick them all up after you get the Phazon suit.
Btw, what's a good "No sequence breaking", any% time?

...Ouchies. I suppose if I were you I would have destroyed my GameCube in an extremely violent manner, probably by ripping it out of the wall and taking it by its little black carrying handle (or whatever that thing's meant for heh) and slamming it into the nearest wall multiple times.
