If I said exactly "dis looks shooped" I can understand why he would be angry, but just using the word "shoop" shouldn't get someone angry.

So if I said "photoshoped" instead of "shooped" everything would have been fine?  Man it's just a word not even a whole phrase.

Well, I don't know where you're from, Poision, but I've never heard the term "shooped" before, and I know quite a few people who use photoshop.  In fact, I'm not even sure why you'd consider using the term "Shoop" for something like photoshop to begin with.

About as bad as "Shit is so cash."  Seriously, who the hell comes up with these phrases, and why do I feel the need to slap them over the head with something?  Christ!

I had a friend IRL that used the phrase "Shit is so cash" to me.  I about smacked him upside the head a good couple times, and I seriously would have driven the hour and a half to his house just to do it.

I'm glad I haven't heard all these other fucking phrases idiots keep coming up with, because I would probably drive whatever distance to slap them a couple times as well.

I guess I can understand your interpretation of my post, but I personally assumed that A) he meant the concept of suggesting it looks photoshopped, B) intentionally misspelling "shopped" makes it even more annoying, and C) specifically having "shoop" in there may refer to an even more overused meme. So in response to your question, I doubt using "photoshoped" is fine in his mind, though it might not be quite as bad.

Though in my opinion, I pretty much never gave the comment a second thought. It didn't strike me personally as especially offensive at all.

It's hard to take any good photos anymore - but I guess everybody doesn't really like their own pics, and I think my camera died...  <:-(

Edit: There's only 2 places I "shooped". I can't believe that's what the kids are calling it these days.  Sounds like photoshop + poop = Shoop.

Because the computer SUCKS. It doesn't run anything well at all, (If you put WoW on the lowest settings you still only get about 30FPS) PLUS she has two antivirus programs running at once and it slows it down to shit.

She wants to get a new one for christmas though so hopefully I can get her to buy a decent one.

this is probably due to ip-based sessions. a way to disable that is coming soon.

right, clicking the quote button on a post always inserts the quote text into a new post. that's how it works on every forum. granted, i think there needs to be an easier way to insert quoted text into the edit box, so we'll work on that asap.
