Then why didn't you just say that in English? I don't see the reason for using German there, especially when we have a Deutschsprachiges Forum, where you can go to speak in all the German you want.

Yes, but nate wasn't even speaking in German. His first language is English; please speak to him in English on the English fora. If you want to talk to him and not to anyone else, then use the PM function.

nate: lol, I don't have any control over you posting in German; it's others' doing it a lot that I don't like. But I guess I don't mind it as much if the poster translates (not just giving a short summary of one part, ahem).

It's not the fact that I can't read it (though, I do speak a little German); it's the fact that it's distracting to the rest of the forum, as barely anyone can read it. This is an English forum, so entire posts in German are frankly capricious.
Conesquently, my post in Spanish was a joke. I never make serious posts in Spanish just for the hell of it. The use of foreign languages in bits is fine (and sometimes useful): I only have a problem when people post in another language for seemingly no apparent reason at all.
