Possible to kill Aazelion (Hatcher Shaft) on Hyper difficulty?

I've never been able to do it, and was wondering if it is even possible. If so, how?

I read somewhere that a glitch prevents Hyper Missiles from doing full damage, except the first one to hit each enemy. Is this true? If so, it could be why it's seemingly impossible to kill.

Yeah, I thought Hyper Missiles wasn't the right answer, so does that glitch I read about exist or not, or are they just not powerful enough?

Bah, I still can't do it. I've got the part where being in Morph Ball allows you to fire immediately, and I assume the pause was to ready yourself for mashing. However, I still don't seem to be fast enough. Maybe my mashing ability has gone down after not having played Banjo-Tooie on a real N64 for years... (Canary Mary!)

Maybe a well-timed Hyper Missile at the end might help? The problem is learning the timing; it's so damn far to go between reloading and that room. Any other tips? I'm almost ready to give up.

I have to say MP3's not THAT bad. When I first got it, I loved it and played through it several times. Now, though, some parts seem like a chore and I'm not sure I like it as much; I can definitely say I've always loved MP2 though and it's my favourite. I love everything about it; the bosses, the Ing, the dark world, Sanctuary, beam ammo etc. It's simply outstanding.
