Wtf do the pirates have for a head. All the beam/wave/ice/plasma troopers have retarded looking heads. when i first saw the Wave troopers ambush, i wasnt scared. i was excatly what my avatar looks like.

They have like a spire and some lines for a head. Wtf is that.... i mean it looks like.. omfg what does it look like?!?!

The only ones that have a usesless head are the beam troopers. But it doesn't really matter because the Prime Pirates are better anyway they don't need faces.

They're wearing helmets! Because the beam troopers are invulnerable to every beam except one, they have to have armor that covers every part of their bodies, otherwise you could (in theory) shoot their head with whatever beam and nothing would stop it from hurting them.

By the way, anyone else think it was dumb that the Beam Pirates were weak against their own beams? I would have preferred a janken system -- something like Ice works on Wave Pirates, Wave on Plasma Pirates, etc.

Of course, it's also dumb that the Space Pirates had even a vague idea how to reverse-engineer Samus's weapons. It's not like they had anything to work with. Heck, chronologically, they should never even have heard of the Plasma Beam. (Prime came out before ZM retconned that....)

They'd already been meddling with Chozo stuff from the beginning. Hell, wasn't Mother Brain tied up with the Chozo herself? It's been too long since I knew enough Japanese to read the comic...

Someone somewhere like, half a year ago, posted a link to a translated version. And yes, according to the e-manga, The Chozo built Mother Brain to...think, or some such.
