Opening screen semantics

I was playing MP3 from the beginning the other day and I noticed something on the screen in the beginning, A french word, mourez. So I fired up youtube in search of a video so I could pause it and read the whole screen.

This was the most complete picture I could get.
From top to bottom, left to right:
Struggles, DANGER overrun, You die if your, The BIOS your Wii is running, then a Wii format (punctuated by the [y/n] screen) [G]andrayda, the shapeless [ghost], die, Then it repeats G.F.S., Galactic Federal Squadron. There is some text at the bottom that I found by pausing my TV directly before the screen ends, and it is just values of something.

There was a topic about this the week the game came out, and the conclusion was that it was all a bunch of jibberish that made no sense.

There were more complete discussions elsewhere, like on NSider.

Some of the characters are incorrect in the OP. If you replace 0xA0 by 0x20 (space), it is readable. I don't recall if the 'H' instead of 'K' thing was in the original, but the missing space between the last AWAKE and Samus really was missing.

Wake up wake up? Aw i always looked at that and thought "thats got to be a awsome code that can't decipher". Now i'm glad i didn't waste my time on that. XD
