I was going to say..we're not talking about Wind Waker. But anyway, Ganondorf wasn't in MM either, but I believe he had something to do with the Skull Kid getting Majora's Mask, so he had an effect on the game. The creators were trying to branch off from Oot into a parallel sequal, trying to do more things. I don't think that Ganon or Zelda were really needed anyway. It felt nice to have a change.
OoT felt more involving to me, but after beating it for the first time (earlier this summer!) it didn't feel that special...
Majora's Mask was... around forty times harder, in all aspects. Except the pretty disappointing boss fights... It felt WAY more rewarding, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. It's sadly looked down upon because of the non-linear design making people get lost all the freakin' time, and the extreme difficulty about where to go, when to go there, what to do there... and that damn Stone Tower. >.<
Majora's Mask wins, though. I just found it SO much more rewarding in the end.
I agree completely with you, Rox. Makes me wish I could go back and play MM for the first time...what an experience. My favourite game of all time, now that I think about it.
I don't know. I like them both. They both have great features in them, but I think the begining of Majora's Mask is much better then the beging of Ocarina of Time. Being Young Link in OoT is boring and not very fun.
