I used to have Super Metroid, back when I was like 4. I regret the day I traded it, and Megaman X in. Please do not ask what I traded it for.. I'd probably get banned for being so stupid. :? I'm just wondering if anyone knows a place to get a new cart and maybe a new controller fairly cheap.
Thread title:
i honestly dont know where you can get a new cart form, but you can always get it on an emulator! If you are looking only for a cart, then sorry but i cant help. If you want to know what website you can get the emulator and game on, just PM me.
Eh.. I have the game on here, but it doesn't feel the same. I want to play it on the console again!  :P Thanks for replying, though.
Here
Cheapest I've seen as of late.

What are you talkin' aboot? :?
There were 3 posts of yours right after eachother saying the same thing.

Well, anyway, is that a broken link or something?
That's weird, it didn't show up as 3 when I posted. Also, the link worked when I was on it- it was an Amazon page for ordering SM carts. Guess it doesn't work now... :?
The double, triple, quadrupel posting problems are going around. There is a problem with that in the hardest boss post.
$27? I can easily go on eBay and buy it for $20.. I was hoping for a place that sells it at like $7-$10. Come on.. it's not that rare..
i got mine at a small (apparently) wichita only place called game x change. if i told you how much i paid, for a cart in excellent condition with a fully functioning battery, you would probably kill me, except that i'm somewhere no one can seem to find in eastern europe, so that might be a little hard.

i'll be back soon, though.

and yeah, unless you want to drive to wichita, guess you'll need to go to ebay and get robbed. :/
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
I have 2 carts, but that's cause a friend of mine doesn't have a Super anymore and just left some of his carts at my house.
What ever happened to Funcoland, or what ever it's called now?  Where did all the old games go?  The oldest kind of games I can find in there are N64 and Playstation games.  Where did the SNES and Sega Genisis stuff go?  Now where can I find stuff like that, other then Witchita?
funcoland became gamespot, which is part of the Gamespot, EBgames, Electronic Boutique, Software Etc. Babbages chain of stores.
one of those isn't part of that chain, but, i forgot which.

Anyway, something i've noticed.  Is that there is multiple stores in an area, with the snes games at least, (and this has held true for multiple states) they took all the snes games the stores in an area had, and shoved them all into the same store.  I actually prefer it this way, makes it easier.

Locally owned stores are the best way, at least for me.  Super Metroid isn't really that rare of a game, it did sell quite a bit so there are quite a bit of copies floating around.

That would be gamestop. Just a heads-up.

Ready and willing.
I got mine from Gamecrazy. It's a wierd adjunct they put on all the Hollywood Video stores (like Blockbuster; don't know how widespread they are) that sells new and used games. It's got NES, SNES, and ooooooold GB games. No Sega stuff, tho.
