"Cyborg" has my vote -- Saber made his case well. But I still like "quarked" even better.
On the other hand... this may be heresy, but I don't think "tool-assisted" is all that bad. Sure, it doesn't convey any details, but it does a good job of making the point that something is different. If Milli Vanilli had billed himself as a "tool-assisted singer," things would have gone differently, don't you think?
Of course, I'm still not clear on why we care about the mistaken impressions of random people who don't pay attention to what they're downloading....
