I know this is a Cube based website, but maybe there are people out there with more than one console, like me.  I was wondering who has had the ability to play this fantastic game?
Thread title:
I REALLY want to play the game. It looks amazing. However, the price of the X-Box is still too high for me to just buy it for just this game. Quite frankly, the X-Box titles don't really interest me. :-/
Yeah... the Box definitly lacks good titles... I can count all the good games on one hand  :?

Same here. I really don't care about any other x-box games, but I was addicted to the old NG trilogy when I was little, and seemingly everyone is saying this is the best action game ever.

The x-box itself is still oddly high priced... some sort of NG bundle would be cool, but I don't think they'll do one.

But then, maybe it wouldn't be for one game; Itagaki said they were conceptualizing NG2 before NG was even finished (although there are no guarantees it'll be good of course).

Unlocking the original trilogy is sooooo hard!  I love it ^^
I was playing ninja gaiden most of last night, not owning an xbox, i was playing at my friends house (i'm still over there(here?)

Anyway, the game is great, the controls are flawless, the level design isn't bad, the fights never get old.  But damn is it HARD, the main issue is just how long it is between save points.. if they added a mid-level savepoint, then the game wouldn't be nearly as frustrating.  I'm only on chapter 5 at the moment, so i'm not sure what direction the games going to take.  (Though it seems to be getting more fantasy oriented)

However, the game is great.. the combat system is something that should be tried more often in an action/adventure game, it seems to be ripped out of a fighting game (probably was, team ninja doing DOA and whatnot) and every weapon controls *VERY* differently.

I just wish i knw an easier way to deal with those damn black ninja's that throw the explosive sticky shurikens.. ARGGGH.

I hate those guys... I 'try' to keep one stunned with my own shurikens while fighting of the other one or two with the sword.
sounds like it's so hard because there's really a long way to go to 'master' the game, like we think of prime.

also, kip, if you think the xbox is overpriced, look at the ps2. ;P

ANYONE who OWNS A MAC in this day and age gets HUGE props in my book :)

What kind is it?? I have a HUGE collection of them in my house.. (currently have 6)
go posting to ancient threads. heaven only knows if you still browse this forum, but here we go:

my original machine was a power mac 9500/120, but it's been retired for about a year now at my parents' house. the first five years of TPH were done with it.
i also have a rev c grape imac with a 60 gig replacement drive which functions as 'logbot' in #metroid.
my laptop is an original blueberry ibook, or was ... it's hard to explain what it is now, suffice to say it has many parts of an ibook dv (but not the motherboard unfortunately). see here.
my main production machine is an awesome dual 1 ghz g4. i really like it; it reminds me of the 9500 in terms of reliability and performance (for the time).
my girlfriend has a dual 500 mhz g4 here and her 17" powerbook also.
now if i could just get my hands on a g5...
Lets not forget that Fable is coming up soon! I may even save up and buy a box just for that.
