There's lots of Metroid forms in all the games, beta, prime, fissure...
What do you people think the new form of Metroids should be in Prime 2? Maybe like a Dark Metroid or something...

Yeah, a Dark Metroid would surely be awesome.

Maybe Light/Dark Metroids. Perhaps the Ing possess Metroids, making them evil... or perhaps the Dark World's Phazon makes them that way.

I'm expecting some sort of new metroid.

Well I know this won't happen but I would love to see an Omega Metroid in 3D, other than that an ant-like Metroid with a Nucleis on its underside.

It would be awesome to see all the evolutions of metroid in 3D and actually fight them... I think a remake for Metroid 2 on GCN could turn out pretty well, assuming they changed some of it, but it was the same kind of idea, with the metroid hunting.

I think that Retro should focus more on actual Metroids. If you think about it, there were hardly any Metroids in Prime, and the ones that were there we so easy to kill that you worried more about space pirates. They should make much tougher, battles against stronger Metroids. Otherwise, why even call it a Metroid game?

Hmm... what about some form of Phazon Metroid: Stronger than a Fission, more deadly (If that is possible :D) and menacing, and certainly a lot cooler looking than most Metroid types.

Oh yeah, and the ability to shoot pure Phazon at you when you're not paying attention Twisted Evil

Two words: Fission Metroids. *shudder*

Well, okay, you never really have to fight them, and you can own them with a PB, but they'll still kick your ass the first time you meet them, when you're all innocent and feel like you can't go all the way up without clearing them out...

Fission Metroid were annoying.

I'd like to see the Metroid evolutions in 3D too! Maybe even the Super Metroid in 3D... *thinks of the amount of missiles needed to take it out...... cringes*

It would be cool to see the evolutions, but shouldn't they be in a game that takes place after ROS? Seeing them in something before kinda ruins things in my opinion.

If they ever made a 3D Metroid after Fusion, then I would love to see them. Any other time period is not a good idea to me.

Most of Metroid II's tracks aren't even music, though.  Just atmosphere.  Similar to a lot of the tracks on Metroid Prime, but lower budget.  The queen theme is pretty good, too.

The music was the same as when you encounter the Metroids, and since I had just become a Zeta I figured it kinda fit the moment:

However, I do agree with you guys about the overall value of the ROS music: The only one I really like anywhere remotely as much as others is the main tunnel one

Besides, pretty much every other Metroid game's music is a lot better in my opinion.

(You know, this is a bad habit of mine I've deciced: The topic gets further and further off track...)
