MDb has the original images intended for the press (without any watermarks).

Some journalist broke NDA and recorded the intro video on a cell phone.  Then took cell phone pictures of the cell phone capture (showing Ma Brain, ZSS, and Samus x Baby) to prove it.  Nintendo's ninjas were swift and silent.

Fake or no? - Apparently someone at D-Rockets (who are doing the cinematic videos) leaked an image (+ wireframe) for an updated version of the space station as seen in the original E3 video.  If real, it is the first we'll see of Samus' ship.  http://leakybattery.wordpress.com/2010/02/26/otherm1/

EDIT: A new leak!  The Other M demo room.

i still want a gameplay video...

Uh, that image was uploaded in 2009 before Other M was shown.  And if you'd looked at the images I posted you'd see that yes, they are back since she's shooting them in at least two screens. >_>
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
uh... it's a CLONE!!

pics look good. i can't wait to play the game.
if 1st person is mostly to get hints/stuff, i think it won't be used as much but if there's lots of necessary interaction, then hopefully it works in a way it doesn't distract too much.
also, if Nintendo wants to pull a Prime here, Adam won't die and we'll get more games in between Super and Fusion.

Why do you say things lie this? I hate you forever. :(

Anyway, am I the only one not terribly thrilled by the new material we've seen? Nothing from the demo got me any more interested in the game. If anything I'm slightly less interested in how it turns out after all the articles about the demo. Actually seeing some gameplay would probably help more than Nintendo's bragging about having sweet cinematics in the game, though.
red chamber dream
i can't say i'm terribly interested atm either. it sounds like it's trying to be like shadow complex, which is bizarre since shadow complex was trying to be like super metroid. yet it doesn't seem like other m is trying to be like super metroid.
it's also not a prime game, so it might be tough for me to get very excited ... the 2d games don't interest me nearly as much.

but i'll still buy it on launch day because i feel sort of obligated to.

i like the new direction they are going with, remembers a little of metal gear solid 1.

Oh sweet, then we can expect twenty minute cutscenes every three minutes!

I have to correct. 10 minutes of cutscenes every second minute.

As much as I have got it you can use your missiles only in f-p where you can only turn around and watch. And much relies on auto-aim. Not sure about that, but sounds like gaming on a wheel and some sports with the stick. Who knows, probably thats fun.

@ pics: I always feel a bit inclined to say that there is something wrong with the art direction regarding the monsters, especially in this environment. While the story-trailer has some serious qualities.
I can understand why the auto aim is implemented.  I doubt it would be easy to manually target everything in 3D space from a 3rd person perspective.

I really hope they include pure 2D sidescroll sections like Retro did with Morphball tunnels.  Those areas were easily some of my favorite in the Prime series.

They managed to do it in all the 3D Zelda games I can think of.
You can shoot missiles only in f-p and when you lock on target.  How does that sound to SM-fans?
Armor Guardian
Missiles would have to be pretty powerful to balance out time needed to switch in/out of first-person and the lack of movement in first-person.
Well said, thats how it looks like in the trailer.

In Zelda you have a sword not a gun.  And when using arrows you go to first person or use the lock-on.  I'm talking about moving, aiming and shooting at the same time in 3D space.

Now that I think about it, Other M's 1st person missiles can be compared to Zelda's arrows.
You can still shoot arrows, Deku seeds, and things while moving around if you're locked on.  Moving, aiming, and shooting would be even harder.
ANKOKU
That's what he was getting at.
So that's why they should use a lock-on like in the Zelda games.
But isn't that pretty much the same as auto-aim except now you have to hit another button to activate it?
Locking on lets you target that enemy even if it's behind other enemies.
Eh, I still don't think auto-aim will be an issue compared to a lock-on feature.
ANKOKU
I don't think they're going to surround you with little enemies while you're fighting a boss.

Then again this IS Team Ninja.
Not impossible
just highly unlikely

This statement pretty much sums up all of my skepticism for this game.
Nobody seems to remember that Nintendo has just as big a say, if not the bigger say, in all the decision making that goes on in development. :|
