I will do a little bit more on it then i will put up the patch tonight for you to test,
its at the landing sight, more of a jumping spike challenge, it was kind of hard for me but w/e
It probably wont be that hard but its kind of just a "Test your Skills in one room" type hack...

I'm sure he didn't mean anything personal about it, but a lot of us are quite sick of spike spamming in hacks.

I assumed you wouldn't be sensitive about the opinion of one stranger concerning one aspect of your hack. The internet is not a place to take things personally. You really have no idea how many one-room spike challenge hacks there are...

The problem we have with spikes is that they're a sort of cheap way to increase difficulty, especially at the beginning of a game.  If you make a longer hack, keep this in mind.

With that said, it might have been better to make this thread when you had the patch done but whatever.  Will play when it's done.

I don't know if it was me that started the one room hack trend but there's been quite a few lately. Cmon people don't kill the concept, put some bloody time into it. It's ONE ROOM.

I don't think that time spent is always an accurate measure of quality.


Does the patch that's up work yet?

I know mine's unique!

EZShredz: I had the same problem when I tried to upload a headerless patch to Rewind... Technically it should be less in a headerless than a headered, but it wouldn't let me upload it...  anyone know why?

You're uploading the SMC maybe? Or you're still using the same file name as before.

Maybe he's trying to patch an unheadered hack with a clean rom that has a header. Or the inverse.

I'm pretty sure this is the cause.  The hack and the clean ROM need to either be both headered or both unheadered, or else the .ips file will be large.
