I didn't know that the word rape was commonly associated with tool assisted runs. Sorry.

Anyway I watched the run, and I must say, I live with some rude people. they cannot appreciate the awesomeness of a run done by a real person, with minimal items. They were like "OMG that noob skipped a missle tank and got hit in a boss fight omfg", and you shouldn't be surprised to know that they have never played MZM before.

Anyway, great job, sorry if my use of the word "rape" offended anyone, I will be sure to try to use the word rape less in the future.

Yeah...it's generally a bad idea to assume that anyone will be impressed by a run of a game they haven't played. It just looks like he beat it and they don't know how hard it is at all. Since he never dies, it just looks so easy to someone who's never seen it before.

Meh, all they watch is tool assisted runs anyway. I'm more of a fan of what people can do without cheating. The brushes with death, intense fights, and such.

And he said he would be embarassed to upload any video to the internet in which he took any damage or missed any jumps. Needless to say, he has no videos on the internet ^_^.

Haha! Luke, you know that's a lie... nobody, on the planet, will ever be able to reproduce your runs except for you. Nobody. I've tried a couple times, just to see what I could do... not possible, my friend. The styles are different, but that's no excuse as to why I couldn't do it; there's quality in those runs, you worked them to near perfection. Forget tool-assisted, that form of "perfection" is bullshit. What you've done is incredible, and you know it.

mine? my time is definitely improvable. i could probably improve it by 20 seconds thanks to crazy inventions like double bomb jumping and not falling in kraid. i just don't care to go through the trouble of acquiring another vcr or spending another week working on segments.

i haven't played zm in months though, so it'd take me some time to get back to where i was.

Nice run AJ. I really liked the mother brain fight, nice job dodging all that with only 03 energy, and then you went and did the whole suitless sequence without saving.

This video look very good. Im play same route hard mode 10% sub hour, but im never beat ajbolt89 new record. Im like very much Tourian segment. ajbolt89 beat tourian about 10 minutes this is really fast time beat hardest segment in 10% hard mode. Im use different strategy tourian super missile route. Im save every metroid room and try get multiple super missile per- room.
