I'll be back. Maybe...
for some reason, after i submit a post when it returns to that topic the browser gets stuck in some sort of infinite refresh loop. it's quite strange; does anyone know why it is?

i'm using opera, btw. i appear to have got my comeuppance for that "use opera" post...

nah, the script is just retarded and/or conflicting with other mods. is anyone else using opera having this same problem?

btw, for a temporary fix, try telling opera to identify to here as safari.

'twas identifying as ie6. that is prob'ly part of the problem.

ahhh, yes, iirc the script reacts differently depending on whether it senses ie or opera. definitely need to identify as opera here.

My browser's always set to identify as Opera (which it is) and I'm getting the infinite refresh problem.

Here's an extra bit of weirdness: Sometimes I stop loading the page so I can escape the loop and load the images in my own time. The page then starts refreshing anyway.
