Well, I know I mentioned it a while ago, so here it is:

Major thanks to Scarlet for doing everything except the run (the route, for example), and thanks also to Radix for capturing it. Also, Scarlet recently brought it to my attention that I messed up big time in one of the later segments, so if I were to correct that mistake about 30 more seconds would be dropped from the final time, making a sub-hour run that much more attainable. I hope you enjoy it, I'll get to doing another one in good time.

YES! Finally something to download... Been aching for something (whatever) to download for days now. Too bad my hdd is almost full so I can't download that much :( Makes ADSL kinda obsolete (sp?) :D

Just watched you kicking the ass of MB :) Quite nice. I'll try to use this route from now on ;) Have you tried this route on Normal? Wouldn't it be "really easy" to get below 1 hours then?

Yes, under 1 hour in normal would most likely be quite simple to do. But the real challenge is hard mode.

So what's the main difference in route? I've been using that same route for my normal runs (though not with as many tricks as aj here...time to add those in to mine  Twisted Evil ) and have pulled a 1:00:50 in a single segment.

I don't know them offhand, but ask DaveB; he used a different route for his normal 100% sub hour runs.

its really surprising that under 1 hour is now assumed possible, when awhile back, your 1:10 was impressive. 10 minutes is a lot of time, and everyone thought your run was great the first time around. Geez, what a community.

Yeah, I mean, look at Prime. 2:42 used to be awesome, now it's just another fairly good time. I mean, the slowest anyone expects someone to take would probably be a 22% hard mode run. Anyways, on MZM, yeah, on the best times page the first times were pretty bad by our current standards. Of course, this was with the ROM 5 days before it came out but...

Well that's how it goes..the longer a game is out the more new stuff that will be found.

It's happened before, it's happening now, and it'll continue to happen.  So not a big deal.

Chin: my 1:11:10 was done on the cart though, you're thinking of my 1:19 on rom.
