I'm not sure if anyone knew about it, or if it's even useful at all, but I found out that you can stand on the bladepods in dark aether. You can also go into ball form on them, making it possible to bomb jump off of them. Just an observation.

That'd help me 'cept I can't bomb jump for crap... Does anyone have a video of someone doing a 3bj in Echoes? I could do it really well in Prime... but the re-done system confuses me, no matter how much I try.

Hey, well it may be useful. In the first Prime, many SB'ing tricks were found by jumping from parts of the walls, environments, and such. It just depends where the bladepods are at. But I think Retro was much more careful this time to place objects such as the bladepods in places that won't help the player get anywhere they're not supposed to go yet. But I'll still look around as I play.

Once I got a key that I probably wasn't supposed to be able to get yet by jumping off a bladepod. Couldn't figure anything else to do in the room, so I was like, "Let's jump off the bladepod to get to the door!" Then there was a key. Fun.
