In before lock
Still not locked?
Maybe that's because this isn't really a lockable offence?
I personally do it on my DS, but have teh ROM for sprite ripping, and when I can't be bothered to actually get my DS, but want to waste some time :-)
nice to meet you Phazon yoshi, i know that this question wasn't a interesting question but i just want to know who plays this game on the emulator or in the gba extra_smug
Bangaa Bishop
I've played it at least a little bit on every possible platform. >.>

In order of ease, from worst to best:

Emu - DS - SP - GBA

I hate keyboard controls, and the DS and SP have really stiff control pads (With the DS having harder-to-reach shoulder buttons too). The GBA control pad rocks.

Every game plays better on the console than emulated.  In ZM's case, as with most GBA games, I prefer to play it on my Micro.  (The Micro is kinda frivolous, but it's pure joy to play.)

That thing's too tiny, and I have a DS, so I have no reason to buy another GBA class machine.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I play it on my GBA, but the up button(?) on the D-Pad is pretty much worn out so skipping the Acid Worm is now an even bigger pain in the ass.
red chamber dream
Mostly on my DS nowadays (though I don't play it all that often), mainly because I see no need to ever touch my GBA again now, as beautiful as it is.

No.

I play it on emulator more than GBA, simply because I have 2 fingers to use for the A+B buttons instead of just my thumb and having 4 arrow keys is quicker to use than the D-Pad
its really hard for me to play mzm on the gba because  my L and R button  doesn't work and i have to press really hard to make it work ,so, maybe thats why its hard for me. thanks for the post you all sent me extra_smug

i use emu
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
i use the SP.

i think i never played it in an original GBA. i can't go back to that light-less thing. the DS's buttons feel off and the....

wait, you forgot the GBP

i played it on the GBP long ago but now i can't because the controls are weird (GC controller's shoulder buttons are a no for non-GC games and the hori pad feels weird for fast games)

i'm glad i got my second SP when they came with upgraded screens since the light in the older model is very uncomfortable and all the other devices aren't well suited to the type of games MZM and Fusion are (i play stuff like pokemon FRLG on the GBP and use the DS only if i run out of battery on the SP)
I can'y use my GBA, becauase I've worn the right button out from playing WAY to much mario. And ALL things are better on the console than emulated, except, perhaps, Final Fantasy 6, the greatest game of all time.
The D-Pad of my GBA doesn't react at all...funny thing. So I have no Choice but to play it on my DS. Well, personally I like the DS D-Pad more now. It is not that small like on the SP.

I've tried it also on a Emulator, but soon I realized, that I suck with keyboard controls.
Speedrunner
I play my ZM always my orginal GBA. Wink

I suck this game if i don,t use my GBA grin new

I am trying DS controlles too, but it is so horrible game play IMO.
SP controlles feel like avarage. But yeah i don,t still like play with SP because it hurt my hands.
yeah
I play on SP because it's not insanely wide (DS=too wide for ZM) and has a stiff control pad (unlike GBA). I can't play with a wobbly control pad. Makes me screw up in SM Speedrunning (which is probably why I suck at it so much  :P )

The Micro is underestimated.  No, I don't deny that it's redundant with so many other machines that play GBA games, and I was really disappointed that it doesn't play original GB or GBC.  But there's never been a more perfect handheld to carry around.  It takes only a little pocket space.  It has SP 2.0 lighting, a normal headphone jack, the horizontal layout of original GBA, proper shoulder buttons (unlike SP), and switchable faceplates.  As a piece of technology, its cool factor is through the roof -- it's barely larger than the cartridges it plays!

If you're only going to have one GBA, it should be an original or SP just for the ability to play older games.  But I defy anyone here not to love the Micro after trying it out for a while.

With ZM specifically, another advantage of the Micro is for playing the unlockable NES Metroid -- because it looks and feels just like a NES controller.  (Nintendo even sells a special Famicom faceplate for it.)  The game is still most fun to play on an actual NES, but ZM plus Micro is easily second best.  Same goes for other NES-to-GBA ports like the Zeldas.
I mostly use the emulator but unlike Secret Key, i can quickly adapt to the SP controls to play MF.
I love to play mzm with my ps2 pad on the emu and also play on nds.
