Thx, my friend paul beat me and i got really mad and and power practiced for a couple hours until i tried a run and every thing that couldve gone well did, itll be while to beat this.

not very! I lost ~20s in the first 20 minutes, so it's very improvable.

It finally happened.

Had a great run all the way up to the escape, when the workbot decided to troll me and wouldn't get out of the way at all. Then as I was going for spark I got hit by a pirate. Even so, I finished with about -40s (after Iron Ted I was -1:15) and cut the 1 hour mark! What annoys me is if I'd have got a good escape, it could even have been a 58!

I do indeed. I've just received a SNES -> GC adapter so I can use my SNES controller with the GameBoy Player, so I'll be moving to console. At the same time I'll start learning late long beam. The next goal is to get sub 58, as there's a good five or six players all in that range to overtake! :)

39:55 RTA, 27:31 IGT any%. I do believe I'm the 2nd person to get sub 40 RTA.

Really weird run with a lot of dumb mistakes, but my early game and suitless is really, really strong.

Nice time. Why you use rechare before Robot Ridley? Thats seems pretty pointless IMO (ate something around 15 seconds time i think), because Robot Ridley fill your energy before escape will start, you not really need that recharge. Is there some chances die with Robot Ridley? Seriously this fight is pretty easy to beat without taking any damage. Just spam your super missiles and thats it. Its seem you not was need that recharge.

Though you need some missiles spam this robot in shine spark room, but i think you still was have enought missiles and not need that pointless recharge.

Its seems sub 32 will happen with little bit more luck and little bit less cautions.

I recharged because I forgot a super missile (so I had 34/5 instead of 34/6), and if mecha trolls me with 5 supers I'm probably dead. I keep forgetting items because I'm not as used to the category as I would like. I am quite confident that I can get sub 31 with a good run though, so no worries ;).

Yeah, I highlighted it on twitch. I have a local recording, but since I am going to go for better anyway I'll probably delete the local recording for space. I wish I had a better mic so people didn't have to hear my breathing though =/.
