Oh,here's something really origanal. An "Official" Metroid TCG.
Somebody has WAY too much time on their hands. I found the site while looking around about "Metroid"(typed it in at Excite.com). The author's email isn't specified,however...

Hmmmm. The rules are a little vague and it doesn't seem that great either.

I made a Legend of Zelda TCG. :)
I'm have a wierd time coming up with good rules though.

That site has great  music on the card selection screen, a little iffy sometimes but  refresh can fix that. I could sit here all say and listen to it.

That website makes me want to kill things.  It reeks of little 13 year old wanker with too much imagination.  Horizontal screenwipes between pages?  What is this, Star Wars?

Not knocking the TCG idea, but midi on websites should never have been invented.

Seriously, he does.  I mean making a Metroid TCG and playing a ten year old game over and over to see how low you can get your completion time is completely not the same at all.

The players of Metroid2002 have a real, true cause.  They are noble people.  While those making a TCG, are just losers with too much time.

This card game reminds me a bit of the LOTR TCG. Where one player plays as fellowship, the other as evil then they swap.
With the goal being to get your fellowship through all the areas.
In this case, get Samus through all the areas
