I decided to make a separate topic for this. It's a post-Fusion continuation I'm doing it in Garry's Mod 10. I'll keep the casual/aimless renders in Metroid: Source.

Fusion Suit Samus feels really, really out of place. Zero Suit Samus fits in a bit better.

Well, it's post-Fusion. I would have used the Varia Suit, had my urge to keep in line with established canon not kicked in. Besides, she wouldn't be as useful to the police force without her gear. How she still has it will be explained in the next one, which I'm currently working on.

Not sure the Varia suit would be much better - it's mainly that the setting looks like current-time earth and BAM there's someone in very futuristic getup. It clashes.

actually, it would make more sense that she lost everything after fusion, considering she loses everything after every game.

She lost all the downloaded upgrades the Federation gave her. She's still in possession of the X-acquired abilities because they're fused into her armor.

Everything looks good except for the font. It is ~~practically~~ unreadable.

Really? I feel the exact opposite. All of the pictures give me the vibe of some sort of dystopic and grime-infested near-future. In that kind of environment, any kind of protective gear would seem to be fitting.

That, and the Zero Suit would look out of place everywhere with the possible exception of a brothel.

It has Ice Beam capabilities, yes. As for the color, the suit's pigmentation was always altered after Samus had acquired the Varia Suit. That was Galactic Federation data. Gives me an excuse to keep her the default color. Besides, the model only came with the blue/yellow skin.

Sorry for not updating this in a few days. I'll work on that, today.
