Green-Kirby, ROAR!

This is the first and properbly the last public beta of this hack.

Metroid Pro mission is a Zero mission hack that makes the game hell of a lot harder. If you did like the Super metroid hack Impossible then this is..well maybe not "that" hard. But it is hard. >;D

WARNING
You need to be able to do this to beat it:
One wall, wall jumping.
Lava/acid wall jumping.
Infi bomb jumping.
And evil jumps.
Shiny sparking. <-(not yet needed)

Evil platforming.
A lot of lava.
Pallet change. (in kraid only so far)
Infi-Bomb jumping.
Items are more hidden.
Evil enemy place meant.

Save stat abusers

I do not blame any one who will use save stats to beat the game.

They are not needed though. A tip: Keep more then one stat. Like one at the start of the room. Cause you need to use you energy wisely!

For the sake of saying. Yes this have been tested and is 100% beat able. I and my beta tester: Fizzer/me-is-liam

FAQ:

Q: why do the lava look glitchy in the starting room?
A: A bug that will be fixed. I know whats the problem thanks to inter.

Q: I can't get to morph ball! What should I do?
A: You can actually jump to all platforms in that room. If you do not make it wall jump up the block you are trying to get to.

Q: I see a E tank but I can't get to it, What do I do?
A: If it is the one I'm thinking on you need bombs.

Q: I can't get to long beam!!!
A: Some general tips: Shoot down any enemys you can before you jump down in the lava. And Instead of trying to beat them in one jump + wall jump, Land on the bottom and jump up and do wall jumping from there. When you get to a safe room grind some enemys.

Q: OMG! THIS IS TO FREAKING HARD!:!!!!oneone11!!
A: You don't need to play it. And beside if you do not give up you will get better. I did suck at this first too.

Q: The norfair elivator do glitch up what not?
A: Oh noes. If so please post a comment. Then this patch is broken and I have to get the other one. (With less changes in it and more bugs)

Well, he is just trying out the new features in MZM hacking. Zero Fission was made not long ago so there arent really any MZM hacks yet.

What's wrong with hard hacks? Beside people who play it do not think it is:

Edit2: shhh it is a secret! Any way, It's not really that hard. You only need to train a bit.

Im sorry about this all but...

I like to be the nice guy.

But your hack sucks.

On a scale of 1-10 I give it 3.

So far, I am not having fun when trying this hack. You have overused acid/lava in this game way too much which is what takes all the fun out of it. I think starting the game off in lava is also very stupid :/

Hmm Yeah starting in lava might not be a good idea. But I did need some thing to lower the HP a bit. Tough I should make the jump up from it a bit easier.

I'd like to see more hacks like SMB AIR. Very difficult and unforgiving, but also depending on the player's ability to manipulate the game through glitches.
I'll try this later.

can it be playd on datel's gams n'music? It uses the same game files so I'm asuming yes, its just too big to put the entire thing on it.
Ok, the download just opens when I save it as a note pad. can anyone tell me how to put it back as an unknown document?

I have no idea what you are talking about. But here is what you do.
The zip file you downloaded contains a .IPS file that have my changes on it. You patch it to a clean rom of: Metroid zero mission (U)
Search the google for a patching tool. I use lunar IPS,

It's too hard for me. I can pull off wall jumping and infinite bomb jumping but it's just too much lava.

My biggest complaint is not being able to freaking SEE MYSELF when I'm in acid. In the real game whenever you were in acid or lava, you could see yourself. Some of these jumps are near impossible simply because I can't see WHERE I AM. When you force someone to walljump that quickly, the least you could do is let them see where they are. Without any reference, it's just blind guessing as to if I'm getting it right or not.

edit: Oh joy, MORE ACID! And I thought escaping with 49 health left from the long beam would be enough. Apparently not. I'll give it to you that adding that extra block by the long beam to prevent the skip was clever (although the block looks nothing like it should for that area lol), but what's with all the forced damage after that? It basically says "You have to leave the long beam room with "x" amount of health left or you die. The end." The acid going into the upper room takes at least 30, then going into the tourian entrance is another 8+ both ways, and THEN you force us to take ANOTHER dip in the acid to reach the other side, for another 8+. I don't even know if you have to take more since I haven't been able to make it yet. The point is you force the player to lose over half of their health in the post-long beam room, in addition to whatever they lost when coming out of the acid from there. This isn't skill-hard. This is frustrating-hard. I mean, if some of these jumps were actually possible, by even a few pixels, I wouldn't mind them so much, but when I tried to wall jump up those walls at 25% speed, jumping as late as possible, I still just barely missed the wall. This is not how you design a hard hack. Make it skill-intensive, and have all the jumps have to be near perfect to make them. I don't care. But forcing damage like this just to make the hack harder is retarded.

Not really, After the lava pool right outside the room. In the shaft up before the next lava thingy. There are hanging two enemies in the roof. You need to shoot them. Get to the next room -> re enter. And keep do that until you have full energy!

Yeah... when I didn't get energy the first few times I tried that, I figured they just never gave anything. I see that's not the case, now. >_>

edit: I love the graphical edits you've made in brinstar and kraid, but all the lava that looks like acid is getting sorta annoying, considering I have the varia suit (which I got immediately after bombs thinking I wouldn't have to deal with the acid anymore, only to find that most everything you've put in was actually lava that only looks like acid :( ).
