I don't know if anyone else has discovered this but in the trilogy version of prime its possible to use the scenery to climb to the top of pendranas edge and collect the power bomb at the top from the very first time you come to the room which allows you to get the grapple beam and in turn the plasma beam all before getting the gravity suit or going through the sunken ship.

ah ok cool to know someone found it out :P I did it and s*** myself and was happy I found one on my own. xD
