i think you couldve saved a couple frames on the pq by firing the last missile exactly at the peak of your jump to save some travel time, instead of firing shortly before peaking on your jump; doesnt really matter how quickly you go forward, as long as you are as far forward and as high up when firing the last missile. maybe you still have the savestate to check if you could do so.

I'll still look into it. but yeah, doing only two jumps would be slow because other missiles wouldn't hit asap meaning I can't fire as fast (too many missiles on screen) and doing 3 like I currently am, but delaying the last missile shouldn't save time it will either hit a frame sooner relative to the frame firing (aka be the same speed) or be slower.

oh yeah, forgot about the 3 missile in midair rule thing. (thats actually a really really weird route i have no idea why retro impletemented it honestly, considering they had no idea that rapid missile fire was possible, but yeah i've noticed that a lot of times at ridley) i just thought about not jumping at all except for one time time but whatever.

it doesn't spawn until the parasite blows up... I tried for a really long time to snipe it from around where the debris-hill thingy is, and I managed to hit the other pirate, but the one in the way just doesn't want to work with me <_<
