Time to just see just how great your favorite Metroid games are compared to my own.

It's not your metroid game, it's the people's metroid game.

Quote from tomatobob:
Metroid games are generally meant to stand on their own merits, you aren't given things to "wonder about" because it's unnecessary for the purpose of the game.

That isn't the case for Hunters, as it leaves plenty of things to "wonder about". These things, once understood, shows the depth of the elements featured within the game especially when it comes to the bounty hunters.

Quote from tomatobob:
The mystery comes from being in a strange place full of strange creature,

Mysteries come from other areas as well, not just the elements you mentioned. Mystery does come from the unknown; however, having a strange setting with strange beings isn't the only things that create unknown things. Scans and some events can bring about the unknown as well.

Quote from tomatobob:
the story in the games is secondary to the overall gameplay and atmosphere, there is supposed to be a feeling of isolation while exploring a hostile alien environment.

Samus Aran is the only one on her side in Hunters, and there are plenty of isolation moments in the game. Celestial Archives being the best example of this with the eerie music and ruined structures namely the Tetra Vista. The bounty hunters only add urgency to the mission and enhance the gameplay especially since you have no idea how or when they'll show up. In the multiplayer, they offer a variety of gameplay comparable to that of Super Metroid especially with all their techniques they can possibly perform in the arenas.

These are just a few possibilities..

Power Beam, Missiles (2), Volt Driver (2), BattleHammer (2), Magmaul (2), Judicator (2), Imperialist (2), Shock Coil (2), and Omega Cannon. (affinities were factored separately)

There's Morph Ball Bombs (1), Boost Ball single(2), Trip Wire (3), Tri-Wire (4), Chain-Wire (5), Bomb Jump (6), Wire Hovering (7), Wall Climbing (8), Sythe Attack (9), Dialanche Blade Attack (10), HalfTurret Double Jump (11), HalfTurret Bullets short (12), HalfTurret bullets long (13), HT Slice (14), Sting Bombs (15), Lunge Attack (16), Cloak (17), and Lava Protection (18).

Lava Cloak (19), Vertical Trip Wire (20), Vertical Tri-Bomb (21), Auto-Targeting (22), Spying Cloak (23), Vho rebound (24), Speed Boosting (25), Boost/Bomb Combo (26), etc..

Quote from tomatobob:
you are being judged because you seem think we want to hear about it in walls of text.

Maybe I should've shortened them, but I didn't think shorter posts would've worked. I did my posts to show that you all are wrong in that there is a point to Hunters, though long posts probably weren't necessary to do so.

Quote from tomatobob:
My "14 paragraph" post was a joke, not an invitation, much like people joke about Biospark and Fusion.

If I consider you an enemy, I will take jokes as insults.

Quote from tomatobob:
stop taking a video game so seriously and enjoy it for what it is.

I do enjoy it for what it is, of course my perspective is different from your's.

Quote from tomatobob:
Fusion took place on a space station and it managed to vary things nicely, ARC in particular had some pretty big environmental changes.

I believe that the BSL Station was divided into sectors, which are similar to regions in games like Prime and Echoes. There was only just one region explored on the planets in Hunters (Ice Cave and Volcanic Ruins respectively).

Quote from tomatobob:
Dark Samus wasn't much of a villain anyway and sending multiple seeds to a planet would certainly make the takeover quicker. Also, the Federation seems pretty dependent on Bryyo's fuel gel.

One planet is nothing compared to multiple planets, and one dependent source being attacked is no where near as bad as multiple sources being attacked.

Quote from tomatobob:
A guiding feature is a guiding feature, if the hint system is a negative in Prime, Echoes, and Corruption, the guiding shields are a negative in Hunters.

Yes, because the hint system and the shields are the same thing. What a misleading comparison you did, since they're different.

Quote from tomatobob:
Techincally, Phazon Beam capability was gained from Omega Pirate along with the Phazon Suit.

Either way, my point stands.

You can't accept that I like Hunters, because if there is no care there is no acceptance.

I said my favorite Metroid game compared to your favorite (as in any opposers). Once again, a misunderstanding on another's part.

Didn't you read the rules? Taking Soap on a Rope seriously is grounds for a permanent ban!

Let me rephrase:
If you don't care about me liking Hunters, there is no way you can accept it. Not caring means you disregard something; therefore, since my liking would be disregarded it can't be accepted.

No, not caring means that something being true or not doesn't make a difference to you.  I don't care whether or not you like Hunters, yet I accept it as fact that you do.
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
as i see, the OP is going bonkers because most people dislike hunters.

my advice: get over it. you like it, they don't like it. arguing is pointless.

mp2 is one of my favorite games in the series, yet i don't go bonkers each time there's a debate where people bring in a lot of it's faults. one part of liking a game is accepting it's weaknesses, not trying to convince yourself it is perfect.
for example, mp2's key hunt is a total drag and the beginning is very boring, but i still like the game and don't cover or justify those mistakes.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You're going to suck at real life, man.

Until my Metroid Prime Hunters threads are restored on that respective board, this thread isn't going to calm anytime soon.

I doubt that.

Topic locked for stupidity. Should have locked it after the first post, due to its title's asininity.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

So for some final comedy gold out of this topic: IUniverse actually reported Ark's post there, with the comment "Grudge".

Edit: Hey, he reported this post too! The comment read "24=fatal car crash", whatever the fuck's that supposed to mean.

EDIT AGAIN: I'm guessing the report reading "Grim's curse" was supposed to be a reply to that, but I still have no fucking clue what he means. Also, IUniverse, never use the report to moderator function to report the POSTS OF MODERATORS. We're quite aware of what we ourselves post, thank you. Never do it again. This is an order.

...that doesn't mean you should report other people's posts to give utterly pointless messages either...

Seriously what the hell "2nd Coming, trnity completion"

IUniverse, you are never again to use the report to moderator function, or due action will be taken.

Oh hey now he's actually sending PMs instead :D

And I finally figured out what he's getting at!

Quote from IUniverse:
You're in luck. There's a reason why I'm named "IUniverse" for my user name. I think you know the term that is equal to it. You're 21, I'm giving you a heads-up when you're 24.

What's he's saying here is that I'll die in a fatal car crash when I'm 24, which confirms that he no longer has any common sense left.

Also that's the most motherfucklingly hilarious PM I've ever recieved on any forum ever. This guy is like the gift that keeps on giving.

EDIT AGAINS:

I'm not really going to comment this pile of bullshit but it needs to be made public anyways :D

Quote from IUniverse:
"2nd Coming, Trinity Completion"

Trinity= Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God is a being of human-faith my friend, and if I so happen to have faith that me and it work as one. I can give some pretty weird messages, eh.

Especially that fatal car crash you will deal with when you're 24, or since I told you ahead of time you'll probably avoid it. I can't make people heed warnings I issue, it's up to the receivers to take action after it is issued.

"Grim's Curse"

Curse of Death, but that applies to all.

It continues:

Quote from IUniverse:
I never said you were the one in danger of dying. I said there will be a car crash when you're 24. It will impact you, it's up to you to figure out who's danger needs to be prevented. Friend.

MORE BULLSHIT:

Quote from IUniverse:
You think so? God exists in the mind and body.

God is the trinity completed, and since it is a being of faith what I believe on it can exist. You ever heard of Saint Joseph?

Joseph "of the House of David" is known from the New Testament as the husband of Mary and although according to most Christian traditions he was not the biological father of Jesus of Nazareth.

My friend, my name is Joseph.

We'll see about that, when Death reers its head. Even I can't control Death.
