I'm not very satisfied with the coloring there, but otherwise it's pretty fine... right?
Be sure to share your thoughts and criticize it, positive or not.

Heh, that's pretty cool. Coloring could use some work, yeah, but just the fact that it's Metroid papercraft is neat enough.
Thanks..!
Here's what the finished model should look like.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Ha ha, that's awesome, if only I had a working printer.
You're telling me. It feels pretty flunky to design a model that you can't build even yourself :/
I should really buy some ink.

...and HERE IT IS LIVE!!!!

I used scotch tape to put it together :p and it took me about 2 hours!!!!
It looks even better in real life  Shocked

Yeah.  I put it on my printer and noted just how creepy it would be to see one in real life...

Seriously bad ass.
everybody knows it's true
you should make hats.
If you enlarged the paper and design by maybe 2x and cut out the bottom, you could wear this metroid as a hat... laugh new
Mister ...
Metroid Party Hats ... FTW!

>_>

When I find some decent paper, I'll print one out and put it together.  Sounds like a decent challenge, if nothing else.

Ok.  Here's a little photo gallery of a 4x paper metroid...

@tjp; That is so cool. You have the same printer as I do, too :>

It looks a lot more realistic when photographed, I noticed...
Jagger ftw
I am going to take this to my aunt's photography office and pay 30 bucks for a 5x size puzzle paper copy of it, I'll take a picture after am done. but I might mess up the putting together part cause I suck at it..
RISE FROM YOU GRAVE
So yeah I designed another Metroid-themed papercraft and didn't think creating a new topic was worth it.

A real Screw attack item. Grab it and you get superhuman somersaulting skillz.
The first upper parts you compile like any standard octahedron, and once you've got those done, you can either attach the two 'snowman' parts to the huge holes and then glue the parts to the lightning, like a hamburger.
OR you can ditch the 'snowmen' and glue the upper and lower parts to the lightning immediately. I dunno which way is optimal, but the first method seems very feasible.

Good luck, and be sure to show imagery if you really assemble it..! I'd go for it myself as well but the lack of ink makes it very difficult.

That's lovely.  May be useful to me as well; I know there was something I wanted to do with the Screw Attack icon at one time although I cannot now remember what it was.

It occurs to me that this would be an interesting line of ornaments, for people who enjoy them.
Shifty Leader
That M2k2 guy
For those that celebrate Christmas, that definitely makes a great tree ornament.
Hey, thanks guys.
I guess it'd also make a great gift, too. I'll probably get a chance to print a copy when I get back to school Monday. Hope this'll turn out the way I wanted it to.

Hmm... This looks VERY interesting. I'll try to figure out where I can get a printed copy of this so I can dab my hand at building it. It'd make for one hell of an awesome general ornament for my room. =D

Also, would you mind me requesting if you could provide a PSD for the Screw Attack item? I wanna get rid of the black guide lines, since I have an idea for building it that will prove rather more aesthetically pleasing. =p
Are you sure you want it? Construction of a lineless papercraft is often very tedious and can quickly drive you to the edge of your sanity.
Either way, here it is.
