Thanks for inspiring me, Jamillton - got a 1:08 h myself today :D
Unfortunately I didn't record the run, so I want to write down some details before I forget anything.
Pro:
- decent luck: around 11 Eye door beams, 4 round Zazabi (!), 2 round Yakuza
- overall solid execution during the first half of the game with some good boss fights (Tripple doubles on mega X) and a lot of golden splits
- except of one major mistake in Sec 3 a pretty decent clean up (one attempt Sec 6 crumble Powerbomb, got the Zazabi room strat, golden Split in sec 6, 2 attempts on the sector 2 ripper power bomb)
Contra:
- some bad boss battles (Ridley *facepalm* , Serris core x, 1 roll Arachnus, no doubles on Charge core X, Yakuza 2nd phase could be done faster)
MAJOR MISTAKES:
- missed the Shinespark strat on the animals TWICE without destroying the blocks (!) and even failed at getting it the third time ... lol (lost around 13 seconds)
- missed the shinespark in lower sector 4 again - costing me again around 15 seconds
- the game trolled me hard on the powerbomb container before Ridley where you have to kill a few enemies to make the golden Pirate appear - guess what, I killed the bug AND NOTHING HAPPENED - so I lost time on waiting for the X to still turn into another monster but ultimately needed to reload the entire room... cool game -.-
- major mistake during clean up - don't ask how, but I missed the last shinespark through the heat corridor in sector 3 before leaving - cost me around 6-7 seconds
So, in some aspects a pretty solid run (clean up will be still hard to beat), but because of these major mistakes I could still improve it. I don't know if I could get a 1:07 h - maybe - but at least I want to record a 1:08 h run :)
