That's right, not only do I devamp characters into 8-bit-ish sprites, but I also draw Metroid fanart.

I created a creature in Maridia, the Hydroid Eel. IT IS NOT BOTWOON.

I also created a new model for Crocomire. And gave him a mutualistic buddy named Arachnomire. You can see his legs in the upper-left hand corner.

I did Botwoon, but it just looks too much like one of my generic aquatic serpentine dragons.

And, my most recent, and my personal favorite, the Queen Metroid. It's not quite finished, I have yet to do the right legs.

Any praise criticism/rates/advice? By the way, DON'T ASK ME TO DRAW RIDLEY! I've tried multiple times, and failed every time. So, just don't ask.

1. Think you coulda ripped those out of your notebook and run them through a scanner, like at Office Depot or whatnot, if not a home scanner? The blurryness makes your pictures all that teeny bit harder to judge.
2. I like sprite art better, but that's just me. Preferences, preferences, preferences...

Double darn. Are you absolutely sure there's no place around your house that lets you make copies, either for free or for a dime a dozen? I know my High School had a copier that wasn't free (like a nickel a copy,) and my library has that service too, although I don't know how much it costs.

EDIT: I almost forgot to mention Office Depot again, but since you don't go there often... Editworthy.

Well, I have a friend who has a scanner, I just have to wait for him to get home so I can call him and ask, so we might be saved. (I have to wait, since he's in Middle School and I'm in High School)

Eh, I'd just tape them back in after.  Anyway, I like the Crocomire one, the Queen Metroid is unfinished, so I will not judge it, and the Hydroid Eel is sort of boring to me.  I'd give them all Arrow Arrow Arrow Arrow Exclamation, (unfinished), and Arrow Arrow Arrow Exclamation, respectively.  Now go get those scanned, so that we can read what's on the page!

Maybe you should try covering yourself in sugar.

If you meant you're not a girl, then that's not necessarily a permanent condition. You can be a dude or lady if you had enough money.

Is there a rule against reviving old topics?

Anyway, working on a new creature that I will feature in my fanfic, Metroid Dread. It's called the Krikis.

Working on it as we speak.

(it's the Kriken's primary god. Yes my fic has four of the hunters in it, but they play decent roles that are more expanded than just trying to kill Samus for Octoliths)

NAFAIK, as long as your post is on-topic and adds to the thread. There's a rule against irrelevant bumping, though. Glad to hear your art is still alive, and looking forward to it! Very Happy

Also, a friendly warning: Not sure if it's because of IUniverse incident, but nobody around here seems to like to read stuff in the Arts forum anymore. It's really pissing me off, because I'm one of the ones who do and give feedback. How are people going to be incited to write if no one will give any praise (me included?
