I don't unfortunately. It is quite awkward to do but I can try to explain. Which room did you have a problem with?

Edit; will check it out now

Edit 2: loaded that room..  any advice on horizontal doors would be greatly appreciated. i can switch the one in vent shaft no problem but it seems like i can't even get up to the door now

is my stream working? I cant watch it, can you?
yeah the stream is good, but no sound.. does chat work?
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
no for some reason its not leting mt chat >_> maybe over MSN or skype we could talk?
itsPersonnal asked me to show him how I got past this door, so I made a vid for him.

Thought I would post it here on the off chance anyone was interested

The first part of this video is mostly just for daryoshi

I also believe collecting Super Missiles is possible by wallcrawling to Observatory Access (using the same strats as the video in the post before this) and then door warping into the room, getting IS with the where's-the-room-glitch, and then transitioning the map to the room and boosting to collect Supers after hitting the Observatory trigger. I tried on dolphin and couldn't seem to get IS to activate (I could get stuck in the wall, but no matter what direction I held it just didn't want to work). I still believe it's possible though.

thanks for the vid! i admit i have sucked completely yesterday, trying to wallcrawl past omega research.. ;) transitioning to vent shaft really isnt as hard as i made it look and i had been having less problems before..
iirc transitioning to elite control access is quite a challenge though, so hitting the load trigger there from OOB should make my task of navigating past all of these fucking wave doors easier!

re: supers: I think there's really just a very few items you cannot get at all (even when TASed). I mean with wallcrawling A LOT, IS, infinite boost and stuff you can get so many items! max% no wave beam REALLY goes to show how broken this game is! it's more broken than 21% ^^

also I don't know yet how far I'll go with this category and for now, I certainly won't plan on getting supers..
Using the strategy in my video above, I was able to transition that last flat door multiple times, and stay oob,but I would end up stuck between the two rooms. It was tight, but if you morphed in the right place you might be able to bomb or boost your way out horizontally.

Fun to see someone picking this up again!

Apologies for reviving a semi old topic but, many years ago I got 63% without wave beam and made a video about it. I couldnt for the life of me get the missile expansion earlier in the run in the ruined fountain room. I really want to try this out again since a few more secret worlds have been discovered. I know of at least 3 more% that I can get to make it 66. I suppose my questions would be... Have we discovered a way to wallcrawl using the omega research SW to go to the bottom level of the mines and get Phazon suit, newborn, and such? Is the ruined fountain missile expansion ACTUALLY possible with Floaty Jump or would it be not worth the hours of frustration? And is the missile expansion in Main plaza in the tree acquirable with floaty/IS or whatever so no need for supers in that room?
Ruined Fountain and Main Plaza are both doable with floaty jump. For Ruined Fountain you need to get caught on the lip of the spider track to break your fall, which makes it a lot easier to get into the morph ball hole. For Main Plaza all you need to do is jump at the missile from under the tree.

Thank you parax. I started my run and am working on it now actually. I got an awesome idea for another % if it hasnt been done. The plan is to get through magmoor varialess, get some goodies in phendrana such as boost, come back to chozo and beat flaagra, get floaty jump,  initiate IS in magma pool, make my way to main plaza without touching water, get to the upper platform that has the morphball hole in main plaza to load that room, Bomb jump my way into the secret world, and navigate the room I loaded all the while not unmorphing or falling infinitely, get into training chamber and fall back in through the hole in the ceiling, and then test boosting around the wave door to try and get the missile expansion thats through wall in the next room. It sounds like a stretch but Im going to attempt it.
You can get IS on practically any wall if you're in a different room than the map says you are, so it would probably be way easier to just wallcrawl to Training Chamber unmorphed and transition the door to Training Chamber Access and then drop inbounds in Training Chamber and get IS there. You shouldn't need floaty jump for that either since you can just open the exit from the room normally since you have boost ball (though you might want floaty so you can get the energy tank too).
"WHAT!?" -Alucard
Ive never done IS like that... Is it relatively easy? Ive only gotten IS in magma pool, the huge room in magmoor, and the room that has wave. Once this run is done I believe 72% is the maximum, unless this missile expansion we were talking about me trying to get works, in which case 73%... which would be a huge improvement from my early 2010 video.
It's the same trick done the same way. Just find a relatively flat wall and make sure the map says you're in a different room than the one you're in.

you might want to get in contact with andy aka itsPersonnal, since he's been putting much work into it and we know that it can get very, very high w/o Wave Beam, well beyond 73% IIRC. it involves so much wallcrawling, though.
"WHAT!?" -Alucard
I couldnt get the training chamber access missile expansion. I wallcrawled to training chamber, fell in and beat the ghosts to break the chozo beak thing, went and saved, made it back into the main plaza SW and then made the game consider me in training chamber access and then fell into traning chamber itself and did IS. I boosted and apparently if access is loaded then magma pool is half loaded too, causing me to get the power bomb expansion in there all the way from training chamber and continually take lava damage from two rooms away as the game slows to 10 fps and nothing can be done. Im going to mess with it some more with a couple other ideas I have but I dont truly know if Its attainable.
"WHAT!?" -Alucard
A problem Im having is being stuck in the wall once IS has been activated with no way out other than to unmorph, causing the light show.
"WHAT!?" -Alucard
Good news and bad news. The good news is a got the ruined fountain missile and the main plaza missile in the tree. (Thanks Parax!) The bad news is the training chamber access missile CANNOT be gotten. The final idea I tried was beat flaagra, get floaty, get everything possible in the ruins to get with floaty and save the IS in magma pool for last, once IS in MP has been initaited, make my way to main plaza and infinite bomb jump up the tube and go to training chamber with both floaty and IS, and boost around until something happens near the wave door to Training chamber access. Needless to say, I boosted around for about 5 minutes and nothing happened. I then even IBJ up into the secret world of Training chamber, fell on the wave door, bombed to make the map think Im in access, IBJ BACK into training chamber, and boosted around that way. Again, I got the power bomb expansion in magma pool all the way from training chamber but sadly... No missile expansion. Ive concluded it is not attainable.

Thanks for looking into it though! So this is one if the items you could get but are stuck afterwards (when wrong room unmorphing).
"WHAT!?" -Alucard
Yeah... After all the ideas I had I really thought one of them would work. In other news, It took me 2+ hours to get from burning trail to magmoor workstation, I got back in the game and made it to the mines and I fell to the bottom of the first big room and died. I didnt get much sleep and am pretty out of it today so I hardly raged but jesus... POINTLESS. One thing I want to know though. The OP stated the he got all the pickups in magmoor. Im assuming that means he somehow got the E-Tank in workstation without wave, BUT HOW? When I did this run a long time ago (almost 6 years) thats another thing I never got.
I'm like 50% sure you can wrong room, morph, and infinite boost out of bounds.
"WHAT!?" -Alucard
So, in order to get the elite research access missile without wave, you have to climb up elevator access A without spider.... WITH the electric thing still alive, making you take constant damage and make nearly blind leaps of faith. AND I DID IT. However, upon SWing my way out if the top portion of the mines, the game crash whilst loading main quarry. Needless to say, after the constant crashing and redoing of BS scenarios and indivisible barriers whilst oob, I'm putting this ine down for a while. I've been broken.
"WHAT!?" -Alucard
I lied. I did everything over again and finished the mines... I'm saved in phendrana right now with 75%. I have yet to get the forst cavd missile, phendranas edge powrer bomb and artifact,  and the e-tank in the way to said rooms. Once this run is done Ill have 79%, though Its actually 80%, due to a glitch apparently.

Not a glitch the phazon suit just plain doesn't count towards percent.

It's likely due to how the Phazon Suit gets removed in the ending and they did not want to cause the percent to drop there.

What would be a good routing for max% WaveBeamLess? I don't (yet?) want to "speedrun" it, I just thought I'd make a demonstration on video with parts that are actually watchable and so that no person after me will struggle with something like having to do the long wallcrawl accross all of Magmoor Caverns TWICE. Also, it seemed a nice advice from T3 and TomLube/ Baby Sheegoth to just do Phazon Mines BEFORE doing most of Phendrana Drifts. DISCLAIMER: If getting Super Missiles and returning to Magmoor Caverns would be reasonably feasible, then you'd probably like to go to Phazon Mines AFTER doing southern Phendrana Drifts and Phendrana's Pirate Labs, since there's a Missile Expansion in MQB that you need Super Missiles for (afaik).

I imagine it being somehting like this:
--> SJF being the only item from Tallon Overworld that you get at the start
--> go to Chozo Ruins (easy items), incl. IBBF
--> Flaahgra, then get Floaty Jump at the end, then get the items in Chozo Ruins that you need either Wave Beam or Floaty Jump for
--> go to Phendrana for Boost Ball
--> go back to Chozo Ruins, to Magma Pool and get the PB expansion with IS
--> go to the elevator to Tallon Overworld and from there, go to the elevator to Magmoor Caverns
--> go get the few easy items in Magmoor Caverns
--> go to Northern Magmoor Caverns, to Burning Trail and into the SW, wallcrawl past all Wave Beam doors and get Plasma Beam, go out of bounds again right after collecting Plasma Beam and wallcrawl to Magmoor Workstation, then to the room leading to the elevator to Phazon Mines. There is a block of Bendezium in that room, so there's no escape from Phazon Mines unless you have at least one PB expansion or the PB upgrade itself, since the other exit from Phazon Mines isn't viable without Wave Beam.
--> get as many items in lower Phazon Mines as possible, then go to middle phazon mines and finally to upper phazon mines (some/ a lot of wallcrawling required)
--> get out of Phazon Mines via PPC exit (at this point you MUST have at least a PB)
--> get into Magmoor Workstation SW and wallcrawl to the elevator to Phendrana Drifts and save in the savestation nearby
--> go into the Transport Access SW (after you collected the Energy Tank there) and wallcrawl to Frost Cave, get the Missile Expansion there and go back out of bounds
--> what other items can be gotten here? Are the PB expansion and SPIRIT in Phendrana's Edge's nearby rooms possible to get? ANSWER: YES THEY ARE, GET INTO PHENDRANA'S EDGE SW WITH GLIDER + GRAPPLE BEAM.
--> after the southern part of Phendrana's Edge has been cleared from items that are not just theoretically, but also practically/ sanity-wise possible to get, get back to the savestation nearby Magmoor Workstation again and save again
--> get into the Transport Access SW again, but this time, wallcrawl past Thardus. There's a SW in Ruined Courtyard, so one is safe to save in the savestation there.
--> theoretically, it might be possible to get some items in Phendrana's Pirate Labs, like Super Missiles and even RETURN afterwards and be safe to save somewhere, but afaik, noone has ever done it.
--> Courtyard Entryway (connecting to Ice Ruins West) is blue on the side we're coming from, so we don't even have to go out of bounds to return to Magmoor Caverns. Before going to the elevator, however, we can get some items in Northern Phendrana Drifts. There's a Missile Expansion in Phendrana Shorelines that you'd normally need Spider Ball and Super Missiles and that (afaik) just T3 claimes to have ever gotten without any of the two (and made it to a savestation afterwards) but later he said he couldn't replicate it for some reason.
--> from there, go back to Tallon Overworld and get the easy stuff and then work on getting as many of the three items in the Sunken Frigate Orpheon as possible (with wallcrawling you can get the Energy Tank in Cargo Freight Lift To Deck Gamma and the other Energy Tank (in Hydro Access Tunnel) is possible when coming from Great Tree Hall, just the third item, the Missile Expansion in Biohazard Containment needs Super Missiles (you could get it from out of bounds but are permanently stuck afterwards - I had tried that with Action Replay before).
--> Get to Chozo Ruins for WORLD
--> done??

Anyway, any thoughts on this would be welcomed. Also, there're people like TheSilverBanjo, itsPersonnal and T3 who have a huge experience with this category, just to point out that they probably know better about this stuff than me.
