The head is the one you have to hit.  Don't even bother with the body.  Pointless to do so.  It comes back after awile and doen't do much damage, unless your on a low level like 19 or something.

I love Mario Rpg. I remember renting it the weekend it came out not even knowing. then we took it back and we asked how much it was to buy. then it was like 80 bucks ( keep in mind I was young) so then I couldn't get it.

Canadian money isn't that much less than USA dollars, (If I'm not mistaken) but you might be right since I don't live in Canada.

Mario RPG>Paper Mario
The item system is better, the graphics look good (even though PM is 3D) and the story is so much better, not to mention the humour. But RPG is harder in the beginning, and PM becomes easy if you have lots of time to use the casino(for money) then pig eggs game(for healing items). RPG also has so much better bosses.
I haven't played M&L:SS.
Let there be a Mario RPG 4 for GCN, such that all the world may see the greatness of the Mario RPG!!

If Chrono Trigger is as good as it is said to be, perhaps I should play it.

Well, there is going to be Paper Mario 2 for the GCN, but you don't seem to thrilled about the first one anyways.  The main reason why there isn't any direct sequil to SMRPG is because SQUARE Soft (the now Square Enix) made it and, some of the characters in it (Geno,Mallow,Ballome) are owned by Square.  Laughing  Funny but I heared that Geno was in Mario and Luigi.  So I'm guessing Square is in the credits, somewhere.

I can't remember the details, but I think you go back up Booster's Tower after you beat Knife Guy and Fun Guy.  You'll find Knife Guy juggling.  You have to beat his game and you'll get a pass into Fun Guys Casino.  The fuzzy part is where it is exactly.  All I know is it is around Land's End.

The flag is on Yoshi's Island in the GOAL sign.

The casino is in the place right before Nimbus land where you fight Smilax (I can't remember the name). You know the part with 5 or 6 pipes in a circle with pirahna plants in them? One of them has  a room that goes up-right, up-left, down-left (Like a backwards C or somthing). Then you will see a chain chomp. There is an invisible ledge in the corner. Jump to reveal it and follow the path out of there and to the casino.

The Ghost Medalion isn't that great.  The Jinx Belt and the Amulet are better.

Oh, that reminds me.

Can someone tell me what the Crystal (what you get for beating Culex) does?  I know its something incredibly impressive, but because it doesn't show on the stat screens its hard to gauge how impressive.

I don't think it does anything.  I think it's just to show that you beat Culex.  Any ways the Jinx belt is the best accsesory.

I also like one of those safety badge things. There are 2 that have about the same name so remember which is which. It's the one you find in the ship, underwater, in a hidden door behind some barrels.

I also heard you can get something by getting 100 super jumps in a row. (The most I've gotten was about 70).  That is the only thing I have never received. I looked at a guide after I thought I had completed the game fully, but then this thing pops up. I don't use guides/FAQs/hints in any games unless I'm positive I have 100%. I hate receiving help.

What does the thing you get do?
