Have you ever run out of time on a escape sequence?
Yes, and it was just after the final boss, too! (4)
Yes, during one of the beginning segments. (7)
Yes, but I was doing it on purpose. (7)
No, but it's been close. (8)
Nope. Not even close. (14)

Ready and willing.
They always give you plenty of time, and I've never felt rushed.

Not impossible
just highly unlikely
I've never even done it on purpose. I should do that sometime.
I've done it on purpose a few times to see what it was like, but I've never had any real trouble getting out.
i wrote close, cuz i ran outta time on melee...before the kirby stage. lol. i didnt mean to i was roll...well lets just leave it at that.
Yea they do give lots a time.  In super you even have enough time to save those animal guys with plenty to spare.  That's not a bad thing though, if i beat an end boss and ran out of time i would have to kill someone.
I voted no, then I remembered that I ran out of time my first time through Prime's frigate escape. I hadn't read the instructions very carefully, and screwed up the bit with the grapple beam. I took nearly a minute to get past there, and I STILL got to the airlock before running out of time. So yes, I'd say they give you bundles of time to get out, and arn't designed to be hard.
Uhh... what does happen if you fail to get through on time?
game over  Rolling Eyes
The first time I played through Super Metroid, I failed to escape after kicking MB's behind. But I was young and inexperienced, so there :P
No, but I've watched people do it. And it frustrates me.
lol no way
I've done it on Fusion when messing around. The path to the reactor core's all messed up. Cool.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
The very first time I played Super, I wanted to see what happened when I didn't escape the Space Colony..so I did it there.

I just recently let time run out at the end of Super yesterday (missed a jump escaping and said lasdkfhasdr).

And how do you pronounce that?
Loss-dee-k'HAS-durr.  It's Klingon for "bash your fingers in the general area of the home keys".

Is the F silent or something?
You have no idea how silent it is.
Yes, it's happened to me before. I ran out of time during the final battle thing in Fusion. Pretty irritating.

lol, nice.
I tried to follow the piston in the frigate in Prime out (sigh).  I fell in the lava in Super once but I escaped (with 4 seconds left).

haha, yeah!
I've never even come close to running out of time.  The most I've ever been set back is maybe 30 or so seconds in Super Metroid when I did an uncontrolled spin jump up to a platform instead of a straight-up jump (which is easier to control) and ended up falling halfway down the exit pathway.

Otherwise, the amount of time has been plentiful for escape.
There's always enough time.  I've only let the timer run out purposefully just to see if there's any kind of cool animated sequence or what have you.  In Prime it was completely unintentional at the beginning because I still wasn't used to the controls :x
I recently came very close to running out of time in a low-percent ZM run. I made it out with about 3 seconds to spare.
I was running out of time in prime the first time... (hey its a rhyme :P )

I lost too much time in meta ridleys room, because I didnt notice the grappling beam symbols and tried to jump out of water pool to get to the next door.

When I finally made it, I came to the door where you must decompress air in the room first, and again, I didnt notice the scanning point (actually, scanning was very confusing for me at the beginning)

Embarassed
