The points are indeed completely arbitrary, but I do have more ideas about how to make the rankings more fair. Right now the system is obviously flawed since, for example, a player with a 1:10 any% and no listed 100% time would have the same amount of points as a person with a 1:20 any% and a 1:42 100%. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to assume that any player with a 1:10 any% time could easily get a 1:42 100%, but then that begs the question... why haven't they done that yet?
The points system is already set up with an exponentially decaying formula. Going from 0:56 to 0:55 in Prime any% is worth a full 70 points while going from 1:16 to 1:15 is only worth 17 points. It could be argued that it should be even steeper since I'd guess that it's more than 70/17 = 4.1 times as hard to go from 0:56 to 0:55 as it is to go from 1:16 to 1:15.
There's also the issue of the arbitrary maximum points allocated to each category. I tried to do this according to the perceived "prestige" of each category, but I admittedly just made that shit up.
If the consensus is that these rankings shouldn't be part of the leaderboards, then I will remove them.
This is how it should be interpreted. Perhaps if I removed the "Rank" column from the left side of the table people would interpret it as less of a competition?

I recommend not taking it that seriously, the goal of it is to lay out a simple table of what every regular prime series streamer does.
