Not only is he making it really obvious that he's not doing his own research, but he's also doing an amazing job at being unhelpful. I'm not sure anyone would be able to get to Torvus to skip the dark suit using his "guide." Is it even possible to ghetto up that ramp he's talking about?

How would Ceej screen this FAQ? I highly doubt he's played mp/mp2 enough to know that this is totally messed up.

I laugh at whoever did this guide... and I feel sorry for the noobs who'll think that it's state of the art. :(

Or more helpfully GameFAQs, cause it seems they really handle that kind of stuff (as far as getting it off the site and banning the guy goes). Contacting the guy who wrote it will probably have 0 effect, especially because it's semi-clear that he did it on purpose.

That might be a bit overdoing it... I haven't read the FAQ for myself yet, but it sounds like this guy has no idea what he's talking about.

Edit: Um... I can see what you mean. The whole beam ammo SB is kinda awkward to me (Aren't the things you need to shoot with the turret still there the first time through the area?) And the fact that he says you need the Screw Attack to get it normally...

Also, there is the whole Seeker Door on the way to the Torvus elevator from Agon that isn't mentioned.

Ok, so I'm being critical about the whole thing: I just want the FAQ to be right Wink

Meanwhile, it seems like the guy is actually updating it (3 times in a month, so somewhat slowly). I suppose if the information being incorrect was the biggest peeve, someone could just email him with the correct info.

These things are legion, and they always reminds me of Bilbo Baggin's map, the one that he just liked to look at, even though he already knew it by heart.

Even people who know something usually don't stop to think if they are really adding to the knowledge base or just flexing their mouth.

I had a guy take my mostly numerical faq on shining soul 2 and flesh it out with random opinions. He had the nerve to mail me and ask me to figure out a technical detail for him. I was kind...
