Trying to get the 'Crash Landing' friend voucher.

I know they'll definitely disappear after I defeat Ridley but I've just got the Hazard Shield (there were 2 aerotroopers there but I figure there'll be more).

Is there a place where they re-appear until you defeat Ridley at all?  Well, before the bomb trooper mission would be good, given the chaos that ensues there.

Cheers all.

I usually can get it right after the hazard shield. Not sure if they respawn there, though.
Maybe the pirate base in Elysia?
Hmm, Aerotroopers eh?
Well, I can't remember running into any of em when I went back to Elysia to find a piece of lore I missed, but try checking around the Homeworld, I would think that at least one should be around pre-bomb trooper mission.(there are a few that pop up during that mission, and that is where I got the 'Crash Landing' voucher.)
Incidentally, Gand... erm.... That person transforms into one. Is it possible to get the credit during that battle?
Anywhere, everywhere
No, all Gandrayda copies are classified as Gandrayda herself.

All Gandrayda transformations are classified as "(enemy name)-G", actually. Rolling Eyes Though it still counts as Gandrayda in the logbook.

as each world is conquered the pirates disappear - I just wanted to see if there was anywhere that was a guaranteed point.

Meh, maybe I'll just have to wait for the trooper mission.

Can you really send her on a crash landing anyway?
I'd say no - you have to get the trooper near zero health to do it, and given that Gandrayda dies as Gandrayda and not anything else, it's a no go.
Oh FFS.

I spent ages this morning trying to set the aerotrooper on fire and ripping it apart and consequently had to keep restarting the bomb mission.  Little did I know you had to use a CHARGED shot to set one on fire, until I gave up and thought I'd just try a charged one.  Just in case. >_>
