There could be speed run contests. Like every 2 weeks. There is a sign-ups topic up for one week. After that, give everyone one week to  do a speed- run on a game specfied on the sign-ups. The winner could have a custom-member title for the next week. You could show that weeks winner's run on the site somewhere. I thought it might be cool to have. This ISN'T for my personal gain either because I suck at speed running.

Actually, I think that's not such a bad idea. The only problem I see is that there'd be a big lack of potential contestants, as 1) not everyone would own the designated game, 2) few people have video capture equipment or other means of proving their times, and 3) even people who do meet the requirements may not participate. But it's kind of a neat idea. Would need a better reward though, seeing as how most of the people who could enter already have custom titles.

That could be interesting, except I am someone who can't get a vid of any run I do. Even if I could, I think I would NEVER have a chance to win anything...

You do have a good point: I mean, think of the runs on the wiki right now that don't have anything going for them, only the words of the speed runner that that's what they got. (Like me for example)

Well, assuming you own the games being ran (different one every time), and assuming I come up with a different prize. How's that?

EDIT: Actually, just had a thought. Everybody interested in this could give me a list of games that they own, and then we'd see where the most people overlap (and hopefully they would on games that are fitting to be speed run). That would streamline it a bit. Maybe.
