Gack ack ack ack!

Well, I've actually been a member here for almost six years now, but I haven't been around for at least three of those, mainly due to forgetting about the site. The last time I was here (a couple of years ago), I wasn't the most pleasant person to be around. I just remembered about m2k2, and decided that I wanted to rejoin the community on a better note. I was looking for the best place to put this post, and the "Introduce yourself here" topic seems to be as good a place as any. Anyway, aside from being engaged, working straight shift work in a chemical laboratory for ALCOA, and doing all the things that come with be a lucky homeowner, I've been playing Maple Story, Halo Reach, Just Cause 2, and several other PC/Xbox/Wii games. Currently I'm in the middle of Donkey Kong Country Returns, which I'm loving every minute of. And I want to extend a huge apology to SABERinBLUE for being such an ass the last time we talked.

Yep, that's just about it for me. Good to be back~

I remember being addicted to Maple Story for a long while. I really enjoyed the game. It was just such a shame that it's also the worst gring-fest I've ever played.

Ha, well I just remember getting into a debate with him, and turning it into a flamefest via PM, which I was never proud of, trust me.

And as for Maple Story, Quietus, it has changed so much it's not even FUNNY. I'm in a bit of a predicament with my account though, which is the other half of the reason I rediscovered m2k2. The email I have on file associated with my account is my old doctor_omega@samus.co.uk address, which no longer exists because the whole site went down in August of 2007. Well, the other day, I went to log in to play when I had been on MERE hours earlier, and the site rejected my password for some odd reason. When I went to the "find password" link underneath the log in area, it sent a random password to that samus.co.uk address, which I cannot access. So I am now permanently locked out of my account unless I can get Andrew Mills to help me recover it. I'm currently waiting on a PM/Email reply from him.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I have a 152 Marksman, 90 Aran, 50 Brawler, and a couple of other mules on that account. I've sunk over four solid years of play time into it, and I can't just sit back and watch all that go to nothing just because of something like this.

I think I got to something like a level 40 Archer, made it through a huge tower, and ended up in a snow covered town. I didn't have enough strength / stuff to ever get back. Playing for approximately 2-3 hours a night wasn't enough for me to level up to a significant enough level to defeat those in my way, and I gave up, having already been partially turned off by the insane grinding for a level up. I remember sometimes I would play for three or four days, and not level up, which is insane at the level I was.

Ouch, you went down Orbis Tower and ended up in El Nath. I did that once. I had to have two people come get me. >_>

If you liked the game otherwise, I'd really suggest checking it out now. They've greatly lowered the EXP needed to level, added 6-7 new classes, and doubled the world map in size. The game is so big now, it's starting to look like the World of Warcraft map. Although I must warn you, Nexon still sucks the big one. The game has so much potential, but the company running the game can't even do the simplest of tasks right. If you're like me though, you can mostly ignore their idiocy and continue on your merry way.

Hi, I've lurked this site (and samus.co.uk, previously) since before 22% MP1 existed, just remembered the games recently and decided to check stuff out again. 21% and skipping losing items in MP2 is blowing my mind. Probably going to start working on some sort of low% run soon.

Hello.
I'm from Mexico and I think i read the metroid2002 main page for almost 3 years.
This page has helped me a lot of times when a I want to use some speed tricks or sequence break In the metroid games. Right Now I'm trying to finish the Metroid Prime (GCN) in less times and I wanted to do some comments and questions about it. And that's the main reason why I came here.
