Hey, my name's Stuart. I've been wanting to join a Metroid forum for a while now, and finally got around to signing up to SCU. My account has yet to be activated even after about a month 
So, here I am. I've used Metroid2002.com's movies quite a bit for tips on SB etc.
My first Metroid game was Super Metroid, and funnily enough I never really got into the series until Metroid Prime came out. Now I'm basically addicted. Even my friend said to me a while back when he saw my Samus startup sound / background, "Looks like you've got a bit of an obsession there Stubo!". I...am contemplating on getting a Samus tattoo in the near future aswell :P
Some of you may have seen my semi-drunken posting on Gamefaqs, although the only person that I can remember being on there that also comes here is transience. I recognised the name from speed runs I had seen before, so that's probably why the name stuck.
I hope to stick around here. I go on another gaming forum, but it's very broad. I do a bit of SBing, and I've tried some speed runs for ZM (I still can't for the life of me do any SBing on Metroid Prime :?). My best time is 57:something on normal. It needs some work...I know.
Anyways, I'm off to bed now. It's 1am, and I'm exhausted from just finishing the majority of the second last set of tests I'll ever do in high school.

Strangely enough, i got addicted to this series, after having played fusion!! But before that i had tried out metroid prime and before that zero mission. I would occasionaly chose samus in ssb, but never really got into the whole series until i got fusion. That would be in say, late 2004.

I've been elsewhere for internet forum goodness, but have yet to find a site that actually ahs posters that make any sense (we do get off topic a little, but at least we still make sense while doing so) I recommend coming to m2k2 everyday for your posting needs.
and yeah, it's taken millzy a long time to give me the activation email for my acct at scu. .. . .but it is a lot bigger than here and probably has more issues to deal with. . . .in short hi, welcome and stay a while.

I think the list of people who Left And Haven't Been Back Since is getting very, very short. Sarah came back for a time, haven't seen her in a bit, actually, Shadowmagus, well you know him, he pops in and out, Syl "left" but hasn't managed to actually do so, and I left for six months and came back with a webcomic. We're still missing some people, (According to Nate we're missing almost all of the "old crowd") but dayum, brother, you've been missed. Can't remember if it was Nate or Yoshi who said "know who I miss? Light of Day." in some random thread.
