Hello, CristianM reporting from Chile. I found this site while searching for a good Metroid forum. Super Metroid is my favorite, I've been playing it since 1995, non-stop

Welcome to the forums. This is hands-down THE place for metroid fans. Super Metroid is my favorite game too. If you haven't done so already, I suggest you start playing the over 30 hack versions of the game, some of which are better than the original.
Well, it's the game I play the most, next on the list, I'd say... Super Mario World
is metroid fusion on that list?
Of course it is I'm actually not fond of new generation gaming systems... cute graphics and eye-candy can't beat a 2 hour playthrough of Super Mario 3 or Megaman X... at least for me The last console I bought was the Gamecube, only because an uncle sent me copies of Metroid Prime 1&2, Resident Evil, 0 and Remake, and Pikmin 2... I just love that game
Metroid Prime Hunters was better then Fusion or Prime. End of discussion.
Agreed, Hunters is steeped deep in plot twists, character development, original villains, challenging gameplay, and overarching meaningful metaphor. You just have to do a little creative legwork to draw the dots!
Welcome tyjet66: Sequence breaking Metroid games is one the funnest things I've had the pleasure of doing. The speed runners here are truly amazing (even runs that that don't break the game) The shear ingenuity and talent is something to behold. Some of the members here are the fastest gamers in the world. New discoveries are always welcome, from glitches to faster speed tricks. If you need help just post in the I need help topics for whatever Metroid game you are playing.

i suggest you try fusion first
Out of sheer curiosity, do you say that because of the series time line? I know you're good at fusion and I'd love to play it but I was just wondering.

Fusion was the first Metroid game I ever played, and the only Metroid game that I gave up playing after the first 30 or 40 minutes cause I got stuck. I'm sure if I tried to play it again I could get farther.
