But there is one nice way save time against Imago cocoon mini boss on 100% run. This is quite risky on SS-runs, but otherwhise this is probably best way beat him on 100% normal run only.

I founded this couple year ago (i using that way my unrecorded 56.38 run) but only now i have chance make video about this. Im not sure is this founded already, but i think this is fastest way console 100% speedruns.

Sorry this topic are probably pointless, but there is no speedtrick topic. But if someone are interested so this is nice way and it is really fast.

Im not sure which is method what DD use his SS run. But there is some similar ways beat him quickly. This was fastest IMO.

Alternative you can freeze ripper before you shot second SM. This is much more safety but 1-2 seconds slower.

Perhaps you can shinespark straight up, then shoot a super straight at it, then diagonally up at it to take out the right side quicker. Then you may need to jump over the ripper, shoot the left side, freeze the ripper, use regular missiles on the last tentacle, THEN go back for the rest of the left side and use the rest of your supers, so I'm not sure....

I think shinespark will kill it instant if you boost through it (I think..)
