Segment 5 is done! There was only one mistake, but the rest was perfect. Saved before serris with 0:12.

It was about 1 second wasted, but I gained that back with a trick I usually can't do. Plus, the rest was perfect, so I'm happy with it. The next segment will be tricky, though.

One second is not that bad.

Serris segment is luck base, but actually pretty fun part IMO. Of course you try make this as perfect as you can. This is not that fun. Good luck. Wink

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE !!!

The run is alive and kicking! Got a perfect serris fight and a 3 round core-x and did the underwater walljump pretty well. The rest was good as well; even the gold crab room was perfect. Hard segments like this usually aren't as awesome as this one is. Saved in sector 3 with 0:14 on the clock.

UPDATE !

This optimism does call for a happier avatar. Saved before Mega-x at 0:18. I made like 3 seconds worth of mistakes in sector 3, but made up for them with 2 harder tricks in sector 6. Plus, the rest was perfect.

it's an unwritten law that high level speed runs will have insane tricks done flawlessly and some dumb mess ups that cost 1-2 seconds in them.

also, no errors would put your run in jeopardy if someone suspects of TASing (i think that happened with the SS SM run. it was so good that someone thought it was a TAS)

BioSpark got his avatar from a picture on the Super Smash Bros. Brawl website, I believe. I suppose the best one to answer that would be BioSpark himself, but I remember seeing that same Electrode (frown and all) on the Brawl site.

Got two segments done, and they were tough ones. These were the kind of segments where it was ok to make a mistake or two imo. Saved before meltdown at 0:22.

Sounds like you have almost 2 minutes ahead Wassup dawgs run.
I know Wassup time before meltdown was low 24 and my personal time was very high 24.

This run sounds good hopefully we can see this in this year. grin new

Update.!

Got meltdown done, with 4:31 left when I stepped on the switch. Saved in sector 3 with 0:25. I would say that the hardest segments are done, but I don't know how hard yakuza and nightmare segments will be.

You are right. Meltdown segment is one hardest in the game. I think Yakuza segment is even harder IMO.
Meltdown segment took me whole day. Still i don,t get better escape than 4.23. Later i got 4.26 in my 100% run because i have more missiles, make some spots easier.

4.31 is pure crazy escape on console, i guess it is pretty close TAS. Wassup escape was 4.30 this is one best part in Wassup run IMO.
