i found an easy triple bomb jump

all you gotta do is do a spring ball ok lemme explain like this:

1: Spring up with the nunchuck.
2: Lay a bomb.
3: Spring up then you will do a double bomb jump, here comes the hard part.
4: Right when the 1st bomb goes off, Spring up then lay a bomb right were the first one was and youll be propelled by the first, lay a bomb at the peak of this jump, then time it and you can do a bomb jump 3x higher than a normal 1 bomb jump, because your doing a double bomb jump off the ground, so heres an example:

0 = Bomb 0

Its not the greatest example, but its showing what happeneds, so heres the technique in one sentence:

Spring up, lay a bomb, spring up lay a bomb, proppeled by bomb and layed a bomb at peak, spring up proppeled by 2nd bomb and hit 3rd bomb for 3x regular 1 bomb jump

Bomb jumps don't work in Corruption. The game lets you get hit by one bomb once you leave the ground, any other bombs you hit won't boost you up until you touch solid ground again.

just like fusion. except in fusion there are couple frame where you can stay in air as if there is a ground there and the next frame it will be gone

well, i did it againts a wall, does that count? because i was just trying to get up a wall so i didnt have to go around, but i got up with wat i just explained, but i think i may have touched the wall

What he's saying is that he did a DBJ in midair, which is one of the first things anyone thought of when the game came out. It doesn't work.

Did you at least try to reproduce it? Would be even better if you tried it at different places.
So far I'd assume that something like a bump in the wall helped you to pull it off due to pure luck.

it was in bryoo just to make things clear i forget which room tho but its kina hard i tried it like 5-10 times when i finally did it, and there was a notch in the wall, but i dont think i bumped it...

Oh, it's definitely possible to do a double bomb jump. I've done it several times, though only in morph ball tunnels. I'm going to check if you can do it in midair or not right now.

EDIT: Yes, you can. Now to try a triple bomb jump.

If you're against a wall you seem to increase your chances greatly.

This is how I'm trying it:

But I can't get past step six, because you can't jump quickly enough after falling from step five, so the bomb goes off before you can jump to it.

KEY:
_ - ground
O - morph ball
. - bomb
^ - spring ball

it's probably not possible, since the bomb timer/physics are way different from prime 1's.

I like the new TBJ Diagram. Next time I play Corruption, I'm going to see if it is possible. It looks like it requires perfect timing, though.

Metroid Prime, what else?

i've done this trick, it's not so hard, but it seems that performing it is impossible in some places. I can easily do it on "normal" ground, but i can't manage to do it, for example, to reach early a bomb slot in chozo observatory (w/o spider ball). I tried many many times, but I definitely can't do it. The last bomb explodes, but even if you're on it, it does nothing.
perhaps some of you should try.
