So - you went through Tourian without the ice beam? My run of that took about 2000 re-records without the ice-beam and the inability to collect any life points (which you couldn't do with just the maru mari and bombs either) and it's still flawed as hell. You really made it through this run with only collecting the maru mari, bombs, and missiles from bosses? No ice beam?

i wonder why people think he's lying... as long as you can dodge quickly enough, i suppose that you dont need anything more than ball and bombs (considering the fact that if a troid grabs you you can just bomb it off, maybe making it easier in that situation than with ice beam instead of bombs). Its definitely possible,  i guess it was just waiting for someone to do it.
