My 2 item run was Morph Ball + Ice Beam. I didn't have bombs. :o
Remember that topic asking how to get into Ridley's without bombs? You do the exact same thing to get to the elevator room going down to Kraid's to get there without bombs.
If you mean getting from the elevator to Kraid himself, there is a regular route you can take that does not require any bombs, nor door jumping to get to Kraid and back to the elevator.
