How does it compare to the more slick versions of 3, 4 and ZM and the more basic original Metroid? The screenshots look more detailed than the original; is there a map system (or is one not needed - apparently it's quite linear?)?
The original doesn't appeal to me at all you see, due to the repetitive graphics and the ease of getting lost, and I'm looking to see how number 2 compares. Is it more like the original or kind of like a simpler black and white Super Metroid (but is still good) ? Kind of like Link's Awakening compared to A Link to the Past, being similar to it and far better than the other two titles that were on the NES.
Opinions?
