No, it's not the black pirates. I haven't even gotten to them yet. Ok, I kill Robo Ridley fairly easily since I have 6 Super Missiles to use, and that's all I need. So I escape. This is where I get pwned. In the first big room, I'll usually get hit once or twice. I can keep at least 99 health left until the first big room with the security robot. I usually die in there. Any tips, or do I just suck and am beyond help?

Practice man, learn the positions of all the enemies and learn how to quickly dispatch them... my run might help, but mostly it's just knowing where not to fall and where you should shoot and such... that's all I can say without going all into a detailed explaination, and because I know someone else prolly will, I'll let them do so.

It took me ages to beat robo Ridley ( no screw attack and not enough super missiles ) and after nearly getting to the ship I messed up at the BLACK PIRATES! At lest its done now and I am not trying again for a while

What you need to look out for are the Green electric orbs. They're a pain.

It's that robot that looks like an R2-D2 that walks. And it's yellow or something with an eye slit thing like that blind guy's in Star Trek.

Yeah, I can see how useful they would be to the space pirates. Having no arms and walking at a snail's pace are definitely the two most valuable attributes in a worker robot.  Rolling Eyes

They're the greatest weapon to stall Samus while she's running away from the explosion. Does the count down only count down to the time it take for her to jump into the ship, turn it on, and fly out of there? Has anybody tried beating it with .1 on the clock?

Argh!!! I can get to the black pirates but I can't beat them! I know the trick and all, but it doesn't work. Where should I stand. I think I'm standing a bit far away, but I dunno...

On the second block, dude. Just enough so that you can shoot them from where you're standing and graze the floor. As long as you remember to hit them when they're STILL ON THE WALL.
