I have the Long Beam, the morph ball, the bomb, and missiles... i can get into both Kraid and Norfair, but i can't do anything in either, WHERE DO I GO?!?!?

Somewhere in Brinstar is the Ice beam upgrade. Find it.

Yeah if you've played ZM, The Ice Beam should be your next item to collect. And it's far from in the same area as in ZM... So don't bother looking there :) I was really fooled by this when I started with this extremely hard game inside the ZM cart.

yeah, a good ice beam location is where the chozo pointing to the ice bean in zero mission was, because the ice beam is the ONLY weapon I could get into ridley with (freezing the constant respawn enemies[GOD THOSE THINGS ARE ANNOYING])

oh, by the way... try to get as many items as you can in norfair, your gonna need them killing karid (yep, i even use the screw attack on him and it doesn't kill him in one hit Shocked )

The Ice Beam is in either area...where the statue is that points to the Ice Beam in ZM, as well as the same part of Norfair that it is in ZM.

My Kraid strategy has always been to morphball bomb him to death.  Sure I take damage, but he dies before I do, and there's an energy tank in the room to counteract my lost life.

Yeah bombs on Kraid is the best way to go, unless you don't have bombs.  :o

It's also fun, because it's one of those rare occasions when the bombs are an offensive weapon in a metroid game.

My strategy was to unleash every weapon I had on him... it wasn't the brightest strategy but hey I beat the game with it.

My strategy was getting to the point where I COULD unleash every weapon I had on him. Also not the best times.
