I'm kinda curious as to whether you guys still think Secret Worlds are retarded, seeing as how they're integral to the latest big Sequence Break. You can't play sides anymore, SWs and SBs should both be loved by all :D
As Radix pointed out. Most people were just undecided to them as they weren't sure how they would pan out. Kind of a "wait and see" approach.
But a few DID spit in the face of SW's as being useless. And yes they certainly were, for quite a while. But our hard work and pursaverance has paid off. :D
I got into the Boost Ball room Secret World once... What exactly do you DO in there? I morphed to move faster and ended up falling waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy down. Ended up having to reset
You know the place where you fought the first boss? Has anyone tried to Triple bombjump into the door where you escaped the room the first time through?
If you're asking WHAT it is, I can answer. As far as I'm aware, it simply refers to removing a room from the GC's memory. As the thing can only have so-many rooms loaded at once. Two, is it? The room you just came from, and the room you're in. The game has to load a new area before it can open a door to it, and... making the game think you're standing by a door to load the next room can be tricky when you're actually several feet away from the room itself...
Correct me if I'm wrong. I prefer to stay on solid ground, and not float around in binary space.
Yup you're right, two rooms loaded at the same time. And I agree with Toozin, if I actually manage the insane task of getting Morph Ball Bombs before Morph Ball, then it was my "hunch" that we'd just be stuck in morph ball form. And that's a hunch, Tooz seems to know what he's talking about. I'll go with what he says. But, it doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying. Once I can figure out how to get the game to say I'm in BDA, I'll be on the fast track to Bombs before Ball :D .
coulnd't you trick the game into dumping the previous room by going near the door before and after you enter the secret world. couldn't you shoot at the door from the other side?
perhaps they think retro programmed it to spot patterns. So instead of like running around circles it's stays in one spot and just load where it thinks you'll head next , wether that is part of the order or not. This is all just guess work though so toozin will probably tell me i'm wrong.
