Jeez, you make it sound so easy... But it isn't! Not for me at least.
Then again... I am surprised I made it this far... Might as well attempt to go all the way...

Super Missiles don't make him go crazy; shooting him while he's breathing fireballs DOES. Just remember that and hold off when he does so and you should be fine.

are you sure that that is what makes him tick? I have never had him go crazy on me unless I use the supers... however I ALWAYS do use the supers, I just space them out. Sometimes i get lucky and he doesnt tailwhip me but sometimes he does, thats why i usually save before the fight.

Yep, it's the fireballs. I've pummeled him with Supers many times before and not had him do anything.

Holy shit i finally beat Ridley... AND I DIDN'T GET HIT ONCE!!!!!

But god dammit... Wouldn't ya know it... I die constantly by the freaken metroids.... Sure one is easy, but two? That's tough... Especially when there are 7 try to get one you!!! It's IMPOSSIBLE!

Once again I ask for help because of my terrible gaming abilities...
How can i get through norfair fairly easily?

I'm not sure really what you are asking. The metroids can be defeated easily if you go to a smaller place, say, with a wall to your back, so that they can only come at you from 1 direction. As for taking on multiple, make sure to defeat one first, then go for another, because if you use a couple missiles on one and switch to another, you're just making it harder on yourself. If you have a super, make sure to use those in the spots with multiple metroids to stay alive. Remember that the disc things (i think they're called rinkas?) will give missiles, health and occasionally super missiles.

As for norfair, i don't even understand what you are asking, I thought that you were at tourian?

Also, you should probably list what items you are using for your 15% run, it will make it easier to tell why you're dying.

Oh yeah Tourian... That's what i meant...and it's not really a 15% run... more like a "Please dear god give me more power-ups walk"

Hmm. well, first of all, if you aren't going for 15% or lower, you won't get the ending (just letting you know) so you can get more item upgrades if you wanted, because you already have a not very low percent.

Because you have 5 supers, all I can really say is to use the supers first, and restock whenever you feel it necessary. You know, you can leave a room once all the metroids have been killed, and go save just in case, if thats what you want to do. If not, just make sure to keep a few supers for the tough spots and you shouldn't have too much trouble with it. The enemies don't seem to want to give out supers a whole lot, so they can easily fill your health up.

Also, what I just remembered, which makes a big difference - I have been playing on gamecube, with a regular controller. That makes it MUCH easier to switch from regular to super missiles. It's not a huge deal, but if youwant to quickly switch, you can switch while still moving on the gamecube, and on GBA, you need to stop moving (because its by the d-pad).

I hope I helped even though I mostly just rambled.

I find it very easy to switch to supers!
in fact its so easy that i barely have to think about it to do it!
But anyway... Metroids don't reappear once their killed? You can leave the room and they won't come back?

And furthermore!
I'm not going for the ending
i just wanna know i beat it on hard
.... I like accomplishing seemingly impossible things to others

Mother Brain IS REALLY DAMN HARD!!!

I tried and HOLY GUNSHIP!!! I thought it was mildy difficult on easy
Normal was pretty hard...
hard..... Words cannot express the extreme disappointment in my skills that have shown through this horrible slaughter....

5 SECONDS!!!
i counted!
It took exactly 5 seconds before i got hit with 7682 lasers and 37 hojillion rinkas!! Followed by 2 RAPID FIRE MOTHER BRAIN BLASTS!!!

I didn't even manage to hit the lava before i was killed... I didn't even manage to break the freaken glass....

If you hang on the right side of the left block, you can kill the rinkas and quickly jump from the left block to the right (power grip) and collect the health they give, and then go back to the left one because it is safe. If motherbrain does a blast, fall into the lava (it hurts much less than the blast) and continue this pattern. She takes only 7 super missiles to the eye to be killed. Also, I'm not sure if you knew, but the barriers before motherbrain (zebetites?) can be destroyed and you can go save, so that when you go back to fight, you can run all the way to the brain, without wasting time killing the barriers.

Make sure to use missiles on the glass, and supers on the actual brain.

Thing is i beat her with 12 health left!
Talk about close!
right now i just got my fully powered suit and am about to go to Ridley!
And get the sound test!

I had a close call against the Black Pirates outside the docking bay on Hard 100%. Finished them with 15 HIT POINTS! And I had enough trouble with Robo Ridley!

HOLD ON!!! when can I get the first super missile. In my first run I had 2 when I got to metal ridley. I think that would of helped me in my first run. now I am playing thrue again. I am at first tourian save point with 1:06:22.

Do ridley before kraid. Get three supers and shoot them down Kraid's gullet. Kraid gets dead. You get speed booster.

I think I will start a new file and try to do it with skipping stuff and doing stuff out of order. I don't know how I would go about it maybe I should play thrue the game a few more times to remember the routes perfectly. oh and how do we skiip acid worm he takes so long.!

We skips acid worm in a very difficult way, my precious.

The only place you need to worry about is the room under the save room. Get to the area with the four 2*2 blocks in midair. Now, depending on whether you have the power grip or not, you'll have to take different routes.
If you do, grab onto the first one, then roll up, place a bomb right in the middle of the two and hold left when it goes off, sending you to the next one. It's easier than it sounds. On the last one, bomb out, then unmorph (tricky) and use jump extend to grap on to the ledge.
If not, you'll have to HBJ there. I can't HBJ to save my life, so I can only wish you good luck, and look at this site.

Voila! Acid worm skipped! Now make sure you grab the speed booster from Kraid, 'cause you can't get past the rio room without it.
