Got my 200% game complete!!!

After my disappointing run last week when I discovered I forgot to scan the Ram War Wasps, I ran head first into another game and made damn sure I got those little buggers in my Creature Logs.

With them out of the way, I played the game as I usually do and within no time found myself at Metroid Primes second formation and after scanning him again, I received the beautiful message that I had completed 100% scans and that Image Gallery 2 had been unlocked!!! ...Naturally I got 100% of the items, as I always do.

I feel a great sense of pride in me... that is until I try my hand a beating my record of nine hours (give or take a few minutes) in my next run. I'm not sure yet if I'll Sequence Break or not. I've done that several times now and find that I prefer running through the game the way it's intended... don't know why.

Anywho, it feels good to finally have that objective out of the way so that I can focus on others. Maybe I'll shoot for a six hour 200% game... I dunno yet.

Right now I'm going for a Speed Run in a normal game and collecting 100% of the items. I'm at the Omega Pirate with 3 hours and 23 mins and 84% complete... I forgot some things in the Phendrana Drifts and various other places :(
But with careful planning and fancy shooting, I wont tack on too much time for my grand total.

By the by, I am not Sequence Breaking.

Yes I did. For me, it was big deal because I haven't heard of many people doing it... or at least mentioning it... maybe many people have but don't talk about it. People are selective on the IGN boards so I figured this was probably the best place to say something.

It took me 3 times to get 100% logs, I always forgot something really stupid, first time it was the first miniboss before missiles, second time it was the flaming trash can.

3rd time i got it all.
(which made it about my 7th time through the game. Every game after the first one was always on hard mode)

I keep forgetting to scan Meta Ridley Embarassed

took me the 3 time to realize that i haven't scanned him....argh

I got 100% items with 50% scans in about 13 hours.

Im not even gonna bother trying to get 100% scans. Just seems to unfathomable to me.

I haven't managed either 100% scan OR 100% item. I get through the game totally forgetting an item. Next time through I pick up that item and forget something else.

I would use an FAQ or something but I want to manage to do it myself you know? A real accomplishment knowing I found EVERY item myself.
