Okay, it's been a while since the last post, but I have a small "glitch" (it doesn't seem intended, but it might not even be a glitch, and someone have have already posted this.) If you wall jump very lightly off of a wall (that is, barely pushing side and tapping A very quickly), Samus won't fly nearly as far. However, I don't think anyone would be fast enough to do anything with this, as she won't seem to go up. Maybe a Fusion god (most seem to be gone.) could get really fast. However, I think this is the closest Fusion will get to a console Single Wall Jump.

If you value your life, don't discover the Fusion console wall jump. Everyone knows how Fusion is.
1. Hahahahaha
2. Wall jumping as fast as possible still loses height, anyways.

Edit: I'm guessing you already knew about the TAS method, but it's still not possible anyways.
I figured so.  Rolling Eyes

Edit I: Oh, and I found another SA-X glitch. You cannot freeze him while he is falling in non-screw attack form. On the last misson, go to the very top and right part of the room and just space jump. When the SA-X comes to screw attack you, it will hit you and turn "human" shaped again (not spin jumping). While he is falling point down with missiles and barrage him. But, if you are fast enough and he is still airborne, the missles will just go right through him.  Rolling Eyes EDIT I,II: The SA-X is invincible while falling. Do the same as above, except hit him with a charged wave shot. Nothing.

Deleted II.

Edit III: I've found a small diffusion missile/charge beam bug. In the fade to black "instant areas" (At the Docking Bay, etc...) you will instantly get a fully charged diffusion missile/charge beam if you start the charge and walk through. You can tell best by listening to the charging sound, it skips part of itself.  I'm pretty sure this is because if you do the same thing with a door, there is enough stall time between rooms to fully charge. Since you went between two rooms, it fully charges whatever you were charging.

Edit IIII: Another small bug, this time involving audio and a little visual problem. At the fade to black "instant areas" (At the Docking Bay, etc...) charge a diffusion missile slightly (holding R for about one second) and walk through. But, when the game is at the black screen, release R. When the other room loads, the diffusion charge sound will linger for a little while longer. Also, a little transparent aura of the diffusion matter that forms around the missle before it is fired will be present near Samus's arm cannon.
This isn't so much a glitch as an attention to detail I'm surprised Nintendo bothered to do. I used code breaker codes to get the ice beam without the wave beam or plasma beam. I tried hitting SA-X and it made the "hit metal, worthless" noise. So I turn on the plasma beam and wave beam and it suddenly freezes SA-X. I never thought Nintendo would add such a detail, considering you aren't supposed to be able to get the ice beam before the other two.

Perhaps the outer shell of SA-X resists all beams but uave.

no doubt left over code from an earlier stage of development.

Come to think of it, the ice beam is only used on OM and you. Of course it has to freeze you, but does this mean if SA-X had only the ice cream, the beam couldn't hit you?
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.
It'd certainly hit you... the question is would it deal any damage. Would it deal 0, or even pass a wrong pointer and deal missingno damage?
Theory: The plasma and wave beam allow the ice to reach Samus' internal organs for massive damage. The varia suit causes the coldness to collect at the suit but the plasma and wave still break through, causing internal damage but not freezing you.

There's also the question of "Does SA-X actually have multiple beams or is it just one that has the properties of all?" I imagine the uave and the plasma both penetrate you, but that's just an assumption. I also think the ice might still freeze you even if it doesn't pass through. I assume all the beams hurt you even if you have the grav suit. Until somebody can figure out the values and locations of the SA-X beams and tests removing bits, this is all just speculation.
The series contradicts itself many times. Samus has the Varia Suit + Gravity Suit + Phazon suit and is still freezable by Metroid Prime's ice wave.
obviously the suits are different ...
But they look exactly the same...Whats that? Turn off the bonus content? Oh! Silly me.
But still. Wouldn't the Varia suit AND Gravity suit AND Phazon suit be alittle more reselliant than a varia suit Samus "downloaded"?
samus's suit is like a metroid now, which means it has the same weaknesses as metroids.

Missiles and Pbombs?

Hey, I may have been cold in that comment, but that doesn't give them the right to misinterpret previous games so clearly.
That makes no sense. Samus is genetically weak against cold in Fusion and Prime 1 is the one where she can be frozen in her Varia suit.
Remember, fusion is last in the storyline, so prime was obviously before fusion.

Okay I'm refreshed after my nap. I believe Samus is frozen in Prime even after attaining all the suits because the ice missiles shot by prime don't just freeze her internal organs, but also create an ice encasement around her that has to melt a bit before cracking open, not to mention the damage taken from the missile itself.
It's not a missile. It's a wave that shoots through the ground. Think, the Sheegoth's ice attack.

Oh, I thought you meant the big blue floaters Prime lobs at you. I don't see much of a difference in believability of that method of freezing in the different attacks, though. IIRC the ground doesn't just freeze throughout the path - it covers the ground in ice.
Probably the same way the ice spreader works. It covers the ground in ice for a few seconds. It makes sense now. Samus herself didn't get frozen, she just got encased in ice.
I had a weird glitch yesterday with SA-X second form. A really unfair glitch as I would say, it made the monster invincible. I mean litterally nothing could damage it.
